Each season, Nike unveils a new collection of NBA City Edition jerseys. The fresh designs bring a unique flair to each team's wardrobe by celebrating their city's culture, history and personality. From subtle nods to iconic landmarks and legends, to colors and patterns that represent local pride, this year’s NBA City jerseys ontinue this tradition, pushing creative boundaries and offering fresh looks and styles for passionate basketball fans. Let’s take a look at each team’s design, exploring the inspiration behind the details and unique elements that set each jersey apart.

Atlanta Hawks NBA City Edition Jersey

The Atlanta Hawks 2024-25 City Edition design pays tribute to several jerseys of the franchise’s past. The light blue tips a cap to the 1960’s St. Louis Hawks, while the angled “Hawks” wordmark brings back flashes of the Dominque Wilkins teams of the 1980s. New to this design is the “Peach Gold” accents that reflect the sense of Atlanta royalty.

Boston Celtics NBA City Edition Jersey

Past, present and future! The Boston Celtics 2024-25 City Edition jersey, similar to last year’s design, takes inspiration from basketball’s origin story. The interlocking side panels are an ode to the peach baskets used to play when the game was first invented, about an hour away from Boston, by James Naismith. The separation from last year’s design is the futuristic color palate of black, dark green and lime green.

Brooklyn Nets NBA City Edition Jersey

Introducing KAWS 2.0. The Brooklyn Nets 2024-25 City Edition jerseys are once again inspired and design by Brooklyn-based artist KAWS, who is known for his abstract paintings — most notably puling from his graffiti-style Tension series for this partnership. In contrast to last year’s version, which showcased bright colors of red, teal and blue within the body design, the 2024-25 jersey features shades of black and grey. The “Brooklyn” wordmark is outlined with the bright colors to ensure the artist’s hometown pops off the chest of the jersey. KAWS’s signature is also seen on the Jocktag area.

Charlotte Hornets NBA City Edition Jersey

Freshly minted! The Charlotte Hornets 2024-25 City Edition jerseys are again celebrating Charlotte’s history as home of the first U.S. Branch Mint. The design, resembling the 2020-21 version, replaces the “Buzz City” wordmark with “Charlotte,” but keeps the recognizable pinstripe look, which are ridged like the edge of a coin. The gold and granite accents both have meaning, as they represent the Carolina Gold Rush of the early 1800s and North Carolina’s state rock. The “C” that appeared on coins from the Charlotte Mint can be seen within the “CLT” wordmark above the Jocktag.

Chicago Bulls NBA City Edition Jersey

The Chicago Bulls are honoring the 30th Anniversary of the United Center with their gold-and-bronze-accented 2024-25 City Edition jerseys. It’s embroidered with a jocktag of the marquee’s likeness featuring the famous “Home of Your Chicago Bulls,” which pays homage to the Bulls’ iconic player introductions.

Cleveland Cavaliers NBA City Edition Jersey

The Land Is back! As seen in previous Cleveland Cavelier’s City Edition jerseys, the 2024-25 version brings back the famous “The Land” moniker. This iteration features a baby blue body, reminiscent of the teams in the 1990’s and early 2000’s. The unique side paneling pays homage to several logos and wordmarks seen throughout the history of the Cavs franchise.

Dallas Mavericks NBA City Edition Jersey

White out in Big D! The Dallas Mavericks 2024-25 City Edition jerseys remove all drama and all color with their monotone design. The paisley-and-argyle patterned side vents are an ode to 70s western fashion. The jocktag showcases the Dallas skyline with “For All of DFW” phrasing below. For the second consecutive year, this jersey draws inspiration from Dallas Fort-Worth based singer-songwriter Leon Bridges, whose signature is seen below the Jocktag.

Denver Nuggets NBA City Edition Jersey

A mile above the competition! The Denver Nuggets 2024-25 City Edition jerseys are a further iteration on their patented “5280” brand that fans have become familiar with over recent years. This design “reimagines the rainbow” with a unique heat-mapped themed side vent. The reinterpreted rainbow design alludes to something mysterious lurking in those Mile High Mountains.

Detroit Pistons NBA City Edition Jersey

Bad Boys are back! The Detroit Pistons 2024-25 City Edition jerseys are nod to the late 80s, early 90s teams known solely as the “Bad Boys” for their brash, hardnose style of play. The font, similar to the style used on the 2023-24 jersey, was inspired by the popular shirt worn often by those Isaiah Thomas & Joe Dumars-led teams. The Jocktag features “Back 2 Back” & “CD” logo, with former head coach Chuck Daly’s signature below.

Golden State Warriors NBA City Edition Jersey

Reminiscent of the late ‘90’s Warriors “Lightning Bolt” jerseys, the Golden State Warriors 2024-25 City Edition jerseys showcase the iconic navy, red and gold color scheme of the Bay, while keeping the more current rounded “Golden State” nameplate. The sides prominently honor the unmistakable red of the Golden Gate Bridge, while the images of rivets speak to the Warriors “Strength in Numbers” mantra.

Houston Rockets NBA City Edition Jersey

H-Town returns! Like last year’s version, the Houston Rockets 2024-25 City Edition jersey is designed to honor Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler. The traditional red, white and black palate is met with hints of gold, which is reminiscent of those mid-90’s teams and is a nod to the back-to-back NBA titles the team won in ’94 and ’95. Golden signatures from Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler and “Believe It! Again!” wordmark grace the area above the Jocktag.

Indiana Pacers NBA City Edition Jersey

The Indiana Pacers 2024-25 City Edition jersey draws a lot of inspiration from last year’s version and features an inverse color-scheme. The side panels are inspired by the brightly colored graffiti and murals popping in the night sky throughout Indianapolis. The 2024-25 version runs back the popular “Indy” moniker that appeared on a Pacers’ jersey for the first time on last year’s version.

Los Angeles Clippers NBA City Edition Jersey

The Los Angeles Clippers 2024-25 City Edition jerseys are bringing back the “Clips” wordmark featuring a basketball dotting the “i” originating on last year’s version, designed by Los Angeles-based artist Jonas Wood. The 2024-25 version sees a swap of blues from last year, from all-navy body with pacific blue trim to the reverse. The pacific blue pays tribute to the team’s past: the Buffalo Braves of the ‘70s and San Diego Clippers of the early ‘80s both featured the light blue shade. The color is also an ode the nautical heritage of the Clippers’ franchise.

Los Angeles Lakers NBA City Edition Jersey

Welcome to the LakeShow! For the first time in the history of the Laker’s franchise, the 2024-25 City Edition jerseys feature the “LakeShow” moniker, paying tribute to past generations of Lakers’ teams. The slick gradient design of purple and black is designed to appeal to the new generation of Lakers fans, while honoring the history and lineage of decades past.

Memphis Grizzlies NBA City Edition Jersey

Make some noise! For the first time in the Nike era, the Memphis Grizzlies will pay homage to the Memphis Sounds, formerly of the American Basketball Association, with their 2024-25 City Edition jerseys. The 1974-75 season was the lone season for the Sounds, but the short-lived franchise is reborn with the Grizzlies’ latest jersey, which also features “Beal Street Blue,” unique to these City Edition jerseys, bringing a current day spin to these funky designs.

Miami Heat NBA City Edition Jersey

Heat Culture is alive and well! The Miami Heat 2024-25 City Edition jersey returns the moniker that has become synonymous with the fanbase and the team’s on-court identity over the years. Last year’s version, with a black silhouette, was the first to feature the “Heat Culture” wordmark; the 2024-25 iteration brings it back but places it on a red body. Surrounding the jocktag is Heat President and former Head Coach Pat Riley’s famous quote, “The Main Thing is the Main Thing.” One last mantra is found within this year’s Heat City Edition jerseys: along the side vent is the Heat’s long-standing pledge to be “the hardest working, best conditioned, most professional, unselfish, toughest, meanest, nastiest team in the NBA.”

Milwaukee Bucks NBA City Edition Jersey

This 2024-25 City Edition jersey for the Milwaukee Bucks pays tribute to “The Good Land” by embodying the outline of the state itself. “Great Lakes Blue” has been a mainstay in the Bucks’ recent City Edition designs and the newly redesigned City Edition jersey continues to build on the franchise pride and respect for the state and surrounding lakes.

Minnesota Timberwolves NBA City Edition Jersey

Lake life vibes times 10,000! Building on last year’s lake-inspired design, the Minnesota Timberwolves 2024-25 City Edition Jersey inverses the blue and white color palate. The water-themed gradient design gives images of fog, light and vapors that can be seen over the lakes around the state and is quintessentially Minnesotan. Above the jocktag, the state moniker “The Land of 10,000 Lakes” is featured along with the North Star from the Timberwolves’ logo set.

New Orleans Pelicans Jersey

The Voodoo that you do! The New Orleans Pelicans 2024-25 City Edition uniform once again is an ode to the nearly 300 years of voodoo magic in the Big Easy. Skeleton bones are on full display, most prominently within the herringbone patterned body. The basketball above the “NOLA” chest wordmark and “New Orleans” above the jocktag are both skeleton-ized to further play into the bone-theme. The boney Pelican logo, affectionately known as the “Skelican” can be seen on the City Edition shorts, paying tribute to the unmatched cultural heritage of New Orleans.

New York Knicks NBA City Edition Jersey

Pinstripes and New York are a perfect match. Last year, for the first time in Knicks’ franchise history, the City Edition jerseys featured pinstripes. The New York Knicks 2024-25 City Edition jersey returns the pinstriped look, this time with a white body. The drop shadow-style “New York” wordmark is also making a reappearance from the Kith-designed 2023-24 version – an ode to “the city so nice, they named it twice” mantra. “NYC” and Nike swoosh layered logo grace the right shoulder.

Oklahoma City Thunder NBA City Edition Jersey

Playing off of last year’s design, the Oklahoma City Thunder 2024-25 City Edition jerseys feature a dark navy body with orange and gold accents. The 2024-25 version utilizes a lighter blue sublimated print, which is an ode to OKC’s art district, within the side vents to ensure they visually pop to the fan. The “OKC” wordmark was also updated to “Oklahoma.”

Orlando Magic NBA City Edition Jersey

Celebrating their 35th Anniversary, the Orlando Magic are going back to the beginning with their 2024-25 City Edition jerseys. The pinstripe look has been a staple in Magic jersey history, but this iteration features the retro star logo in place of the “A” in the gothic-style “Magic” wordmark that’s reminiscent of their first decade in the league.

Philadelphia 76ers NBA City Edition Jersey

The 76ers 2024-25 City Edition jerseys are rich with Philadelphia sports history. This year’s jersey brings back the white edition of the 2021-22 version, which returns the 1970s inspired “Sixers” wordmark on the chest. The side panels are an ode to “America’s Showplace,” the Spectrum, where the 76ers played full-time from 1967–1996. The color blocks were seen outside the old arena and represented the four major sports team in Philadelphia; the Phillies (red), Flyers (orange), Eagles (green) and 76ers (blue). a gold font “Brotherly Love” wordmark above the jocktag rounds out how much this jersey embodies Philadelphia culture.

Phoenix Suns NBA City Edition Jersey

Drawing inspiration from the 1995 NBA All-Star Game, which was played in Phoenix and will celebrate its 30th anniversary this season, the Suns 2024-25 City Edition jerseys feature a purple body with cactus green and sunrise orange trim to honor the area’s desert vibe. The side panels are also an ode to Aztec culture and were first seen on those ’95 All-Star jerseys. This year’s jersey also returns “The Valley” wordmark, popular on recent City Edition designs.

Portland Trail Blazers NBA City Edition Jersey

Rip City once again! The Portland Trail Blazers 2024-25 City Edition jerseys are an ode to several key characters in franchise history. The “Rip City” moniker, which has become synonymous with Blazers’ basketball, was first coined by play-by-play announcer, Bill Schonely in their inaugural 1971 season – and has graced several jerseys in the Blazers’ history. The sublimated plaid pattern has also been a staple in recent City Edition jersey iterations, an ode to legendary coach Jack Ramsay, aka Dr. Jack Plaid – who commonly wore plaid during games and coached the team to their lone championship in 1977.

Sacramento Kings NBA City Edition Jersey

A Royal history! The Sacramento Kings 2024-25 City Edition jerseys reach back in their history books to once again honor the storied franchise’s time in Rochester and Cincinnati with the royal, red and white color palate. It most closely resembles the Cincinnati Royal’s look of the mid-60’s, with similar side paneling and block lettering on the chest. The retro Royal’s basketball-with-skyline-crown logo from the 1960s will be seen on the City Edition shorts, further connecting this jersey with the team’s past. The Kings’ franchise continues their 100th anniversary celebration that began last season with the “100 Years of Royalty” wordmark above the jocktag.

San Antonio Spurs NBA City Edition Jersey

The San Antonio Spurs 2024-25 City Edition jerseys carry over the “Viva Spurs” look and feel from last year’s design, while incorporating a light blue body for the first time in Spurs’ franchise history. The black “San Antonio” on the chest is reminiscent of last year’s wordmark but in this version, the font outline, neck and sleeve trim share a palate of orange, peach and brown accents. The timeless “Viva Spurs” mantra is found above the jocktag.

Toronto Raptors NBA City Edition Jersey

Vinsanity! Air Canada! Add City Edition to the inspiration list. The Toronto Raptors 2024-25 City Edition jerseys are a not-so-subtle tribute to one of the franchise’s all-time best and most revered players. Vince Carter, who was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and whose #15 was retired by the Raptors in 2024, made “The Raptor” jerseys famous in his time in Toronto. It is only fitting that this jersey honors his iconic “through-the-legs” dunk, performed on his way to winning 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

Utah Jazz NBA City Edition Jersey

Purple mountains majesty! The Utah Jazz 2024-25 City Edition jerseys will feature the famous mountains that many fans associate with the franchise. Evoking visions of John Stockton and Karl Malone, these City Edition jerseys pay homage to the rich history this team has on the court and pay tribute to the landscape synonymous with Utah’s skyline. “Jazz” is subbed out for “Utah” on the chest as a subtle change up to those renowned late ‘90s-early 2000’s designs.

Washington Wizards NBA City Edition Jersey

The Washington Wizards 2024-25 City Edition jerseys honor the history of D.C. and the origins of the Boundary Stone. These stones mark the four lines forming the boundaries between Maryland and Virginia. Placed in 1790, with help from astronomer Benjamin Banneker, these stones laid the foundation of D.C.’s future. The “District” wordmark on the jersey chest is an ode to the font used in Banneker’s almanack, while a stone-line texture represents the original 40 Boundary Stones placed around D.C.
