This is a great paddle for my 3.1 dupr game and my only real complaint is the grit wears out too fast. Luckily, they're discounted online and don't break the bank. I've always used paddles with an edge guard and when I switched to the edgeless Amped paddle, I started winning more hand battles at the kitchen line. Even if the weight is similar to banded paddles, it feels much quicker in my hand. Even though it's an earlier gen paddle it has a nice balance of power and finesse.
