I 'm a postpartum momma and I love that these pants have so much support while staying comfortable. I think the cutout is cute but my work out tops all cover it up so that part of the pant is n't as important to me. Someone who wears cropped work out tops might appreciate that detailing more. The only other thing I would note is these leggings run long. I 'm 5' 8 and they fit very well with my sneakers on but if I were shorter I probably would find them to be too long. I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” and 120 lbs, and the XS fits really well. The waistband is a bit snug going over the hips, but once it ’s on, it feels firm and supportive, which I like. The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. And when I say “ course ”, I should clarify that it is still a very soft fabric and you won ’ t be disappointed. Both are great in their own way, and I wear either depending on what I ’ m doing.
