I think these are the perfect trouser/yoga pant combo. I 've worn them out to dinner and feel totally comfortable styling them with a t- shirt during weekend errand runs. Immediately after taking them out of the package, the fabric feels like your standard workout material, but it's heavy and looks so flattering on. I love that they have weight to them as a trouser or a jean would. They sit so nice on my waist and do n't roll down. However, the length. I am 5' 5 '' and they are super long, but have styled them with some sneakers that have a platform or give me a little lift and it's not a problem. So when they showed up I almost thought I was sent the black by mistake then I tried them on and they looked SO GOOD I was keeping them either way. One of my preferences is it contains cotton, not 100% polyester.( Thanks UA for offering cotton content products.) I 'm not sure why I selected large. Maybe, I was thinking I will be able to fit into these someday. Turned out I did n't need to wait. I was very surprised they fit me. XL would be oversized. As for length, I would say at the end of the legs the slack is about an inch. I am 4'11 '' and have been told I have short legs. The waistline comes up to my navel. The inseam reaches me just right. Now, once I drop extra body fat around my waistline, then, these would fit perfectly. Going to get another pair in a smaller size. I am that optimistic.
