[ I love this headband. This is the fourth one I have purchase. The first one I purchase was around 2012. It is fraying, and after receiving the new one, I realized how flat it was, but it held up well for a decade. I bought a second one around 2016. I bought it because one was not enough for colder weather. That might sound like a negative, but I like layering these. They are flat, and I always keep them in the breast pocket of my jacket. When I need one, I wear it. When I need more warmth, I add another. It's layering for your head. I think they are remarkably warm for as thin as they are. For years I rode my bicycle to work, and I did n't stop during the cold months. The great thing about these headbands is I can adjust my helmet a little bigger and wear one or two of these underneath. The third one I bought recently will replace the one I have had since 2010. The fourth one I just purchased is for me wife. It 'll will be her first one, but she really likes mine, so I bought her one. Even though it is wool, it is not itchy. Hat is packable, lightweight, and had the best face and neck coverage of any I found. Also has a drawstring to keep it on. I haven ’ t used it yet but I know it will do what it ’s designed to and protect you from the sun. This is going to be my go to hat for kayaking. I love boonie hats, but the Sport Hat can keep out all angles of sunlight. It is feathery light on your head, but it is still rugged. This is my third one as others finally wore out or got damaged. This hat will stay in place in a strong wind if you cinch down the chin strap. I wear it kayaking on big expanses of water with no wind break. The L/XL hat fit me well. I hope that Sunday Afternoons keeps selling these hats forever.

I have a large head and typically will wear a baseball cap on the beach because hair needs to be back, this hat is amazing!! I wore it first on a windy day and just had to tighten the back and the chin strap and the hat stayed on my head. I love that it covers my ears and the back of my head and neck. This is a great hat for any who spend a lot of time in the sun. So much cooler than most ball cap style hats. Much better air flow and space for your head to breath. It is an excellent choice for any fisherman who spends many hours out on the lake like I do. Provides great comfort and sun protection as well as shading your eyes so along with your polarized sunglasses one can see deep into the water. Exactly what I needed! I have one hat that is similar to this, but I am wearing it in every single outdoor photo so I wanted another for variety. Then THIS hat came along that ’s reversible!! I love it! It is exactly what I was looking for, but better! I love that it has a removable strap. It ’s there when I need it, but on a calm weather day I can remove it. With my other hat I would tuck the strap up inside, which was a bit annoying. This is the perfect hat for me, and now that it is reversible I have a little more variety.

I bought this hat specifically to store in my car, because one never knows when you might have to stand out in the sun for an extended period of time. Bought this one to replace old one that was blue and has traveled around the world with me. Love how light and compact it can be when not wearing it and how you can expand it for wearing to keep sun off your face and neck. Only reason I have to replace old one after 12+ years is because of the metal in the outer part finally snapped in few spots. So outer part does not hold shape as well especially in wind. Mind you I washed it with similar color clothes probably once or wove a year( which might not have been recommended) and would fold it over twice to fit in top of back back on travel days in airports and buses. I ’ m just happy I still had tag on old hat to find company to buy this new one. The old one I will still wear around house doing yard work. Needless to say after buying several different hats this if my favorite one for spring, summer, and fall. Thank you for this wonderful design that stands up to my abuse and keeps looking great.

I searched for the perfect everyday hat for what felt like for- ev- er. When I came across the Luna hat in Brindle in a store some years ago, I knew I had finally found my unicorn. I 've had this hat for about 5 years now, and it's my go- to for when my face will need sun protection but I still want to look cute... farmers market, outdoor events, travelling, etc. The medium brown color goes with everything, the leather band gives it a polished look, the shape has just enough structure but still feels casual. I live in a hot climate( Central Texas) so a cool and breathable hat is essential. With our weather, this hat gets 3 seasons of use. Do n't be deterred by the `` paper '' content... the braid feels very soft and it's also durable. In all these years, I 've only gotten one small pull in the weave but the pattern is so forgiving it blends in. I get so many compliments on this hat... it's my favorite.
