I bought these boots 4 years ago and they held up very well against all the abuse I put them through working at a lumberyard. The insoles are like walking on clouds, the boots never let water in, and the toe let's you get a pretty good kick in on whatever piece of lumber is n't going quite where it should be. I bought these for work, but they eventually just became my go to shoes because of how comfortable they are. I wore them everywhere, work, the grocery store, dates with the wife, you name it, those boots were there. The only reason I got rid of them was because the bottom sole tore itself off of the rest of the boot. I guess all good thing do have to come to an end eventually... Overall, very very nice boots, I recommend them to everyone that asks.

Had these for over a year now and there are a lot of hard hours on them. They are still my go to but the tread is almost gone, but still plenty of traction. Initially I purchased them just for work but I like them so much they are all I wear. I have to admit the yellow over molded rubber on the sole looks nice but it sheds pretty easily and that was a disappointment but they have been such a good boot that I still give 5 stars. Will definitely order more of them. Extremely light, and comfortable yet very supportive and rugged.

I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I was looking for a waterproof boot that was n't thermalized so I could wear it in a range of weather-- these are perfect. The Chaco footbed is nice and supportive, and the shaft is wide enough for easy on and off. Also love the finger loop at the back to help. I wear a size 8 or 8. 5 wide in women's and I bought the men's 7-- it fits perfectly and the width is great.

These are snug at the instep if you have “ taller ” feet; it took a few wears to start to feel comfortable, and takes a shoe horn every time to get them on. Surprisingly roomy at toe box( which is where my width is). Learher and construction seem good. Cork later at the sole makes these a bit more casual, but colorwise, plays well with all the neutrals. Good looking for a casual boot. Squeaky for first day, then not again. Haven ’ t tested waterproofing yet.

I typically don ’ t write reviews but after a day of nonstop wearing in the snow I need to give Red Wing huge props for these boots. Not are they only the most comfortable boot I may have ever owned, they kept my foot entirely dry the entire day and when i reached into the boot to see if it was damp at all it was entirely dry. The cushion and comfort in this boot is unreal. I ’ m not a hunter nor do I use these boots for work. I wear them to walk my labs during the winter in all weather. worth the money. Being on my feet most of the days for the past 30+ years of my career, I need a greatly comfortable pair of shoes.... especially with my lower discs deteriorated. Also need the shock resistance working on 120- 480 volt equipment. Also need the slip resistance on slippery and/or oily surfaces. These have been my 'go- to' for a couple decades now. These are more comfortable to me than any pair of 'tennis show' I 've worn There is a negative to the comfort... the shoes are actually designed as a 'trail style' shoe. That means the soles are softer than a typical work shoe/boot. It's worth my comfort to have to buy a new pair a little sooner than I would another work boot. I wear the low and high tops.

A good place would be when I purchased these bad boys during my time working at Cabela's 4 years ago. Once I placed these glorious looking fiends on a display rack, I knew I had to have them. And boy am I glad I do. These have been my year- round daily boot, for literally all weathers in Colorado, and I wear them literally every day. The leather has worn in so amazingly, that I forget I 'm wearing them sometimes. I have worn the soles down to being almost flat, now, and have swapped out insoles for some Meindl ones, but man, insoles only do so much. I wear these hiking, Jeeping, running errands, going outside in general, these are what I want on my feet. I have worn these at several jobs, ranging from my mechanic work, to the tarmac as ground crew for an airline, and they are still solid, no tears, rips, anything!( there is some stuffing from the belly of the airplanes when I was stuck on my knees, but it does matter to me, they still look great!) They are such amazing boots, that I base any other boot I try on them. And none have compared yet. You still debating whether to get them or not? Do you like/want to buy multiple pairs of the same boot, or have one that will last through the ages, and all the crazy in between? You wo n't regret these, I guarantee.

[ Like everything danner makes it is great leather. I rock a 13 wide in sneakers and got a 12 wide for this boot. It fit snug at first especially around the top arch of the foot. After about two weeks of breakin they are comfortable but tight enough to provide appropriate traction. I think after a couple months of molding they will be on the top for comfortability.

So when I wanted a nice pair of casual waterproof winter walking boots in the Chelsea style, I was thrilled to see that Ariat made them! Note: I first purchased reg width( wide, my width, was n't avail at the time) in size 8- 1/2 the boot itself fit perfect but the tops were too narrow above the ankle& rubbed my leg. I exchanged for wide width( avail after Christmas!) size 9( as 8- 1/2 were n't avail), I so wanted these boots. The top part above ankle does n't rub( yay) but the boot is way big for my foot. I bought super thick wool socks and manage but still too big on my feet, they slide as I walk. An 8- 1/2, wide- width would 've been perfect for me but I do n't believe they return 2x's. I wear them but can not walk fast in them and I 'm a NYer, oxymoronic. Highly recommend Ariat's Wexford Chelsea waterproof boots regardless! Super boots.

I have worn Sorel Chelsea boots for several years and have loved them. When my last pair needed to be replaced, I decided to give Ariat a try. I am extremely happy with these boots and will likely not go back to Sorel. They were comfortable out of the box with no break in period- this was shocking to me as someone with heel issues that are usually a problem with new boots. They are comfortable and I can walk around and stand all day without problems. They look great- I love the simple design and low profile logo. Highly recommend- these are the most comfortable and well made Chelsea boots that I have ever worn.

Am now purchasing my fourth pair of these boots. Same Wexfords; same colour. Fabulously comfy from the go get. Am hoping I can get my hands on the 'Skewbald' coloured ones.. Look forward to hearing from you, Ariat..

These boots are sturdy without feeling clunky. They look good with regular outfits, but they also work as paddock boots for me. They clean up nicely after a day at the barn.
