The picture may be missing something. I 'm pretty sure there's a little turtle neck on this shirt, but we purchased in store, so we knew what we were getting. This shirt, as well as the matching pants, are great for when your son's baseball coach thinks it's a good idea to hold practice in January when it's 38 degrees and no tournament until March! You can put this under any jersey or uniform to keep warm. Do n't mess around with the cheap ones you can find at other online retailers. They 're real thin and do n't add much thermal support. You get what you pay for, and these are not a bad price.

This winter plaid button up is fantastic. It looks like a traditional plaid, but it's so much better. The fabric is beyond soft and is very comfortable. The tag says that it is moisture wicking and even though I have n't sweat in it, it does dry quickly when I wash it. The fabric does have some stretch to it so that makes it even more comfortable if you are an active person and always on the move. The shirt also has UV protection, which is a pretty good feature even though it's winter it is good to have UV protection. The tag on the shirt also said the fabric is anti- odor and so far I have not noticed any odors. My only wish is that they made more color options of this shirt. Shirt does not wrinkle and has held up great after multiple washes.

My two favorite features include the thumb holes in the sleeve and the zipper pocket on the side to hold my ID, cash, car keys when needed. I love that I don ’ t need to make sure my shorts have a pocket to hold the essentials. The shirt ’s fabric is top notch. It has not stained or pilled when washed. It is thick enough for warmth while not being bulky. My shirt is white and my only complaint about the fabric is that the white color is fairly see through so I have to be careful what sports bra I wear underneath it.

It hits right at the waist, not too cropped or too long. The material is stretchy and soft, not restrictive at all. I 've worn it while lifting weights and running and it does n't affect range of motion at all. I love the cut out for my watch and my thumbs. I have longer arms and sometimes the thumb holes on shirts are too tight, this has longer sleeves which I love. Also has a handy waist pocket and reflective patches on arms and back. [ No chafing and really thoughtful features make this a versatile running top! Obviously the shirt is dri- fit so no worries about that, but what makes this a great all season top are the features, and there are many. As a base layer it's tapered and hits right at the hip. It's tight but not TOO tight, so it easily fits underneath layers for a cold outside run, but it's also not TOO tight that I can comfortably wear it on its own without feeling self- conscious about it hugging every curve. I have the white top and was pleased that it does n't show every detail. It also has a watch window and a little pocket on the front left of the top for my ID and a key so again can be worn as a standalone functional top for long runs. I have n't tested out the UV protection yet as it's still winter, and I 've been using this on long runs outside as a base layer and inside on my treadmill, but from what I see so far, this top is a vast improvement over past NIKE running tops I 've purchased. I 'm so thrilled to have a high functioning all season top for running! Of note- there is a really long and annoying fabric tag near the pocket on the front left of the top. Once that is removed the top is perfect!
