Wish Carhartt still offered the fleece stocking cap with a single layer. Not so toasty so I can work hard like shoveling snow without sweating like the double thick cap would cause. But for times that I am not exerting while out in the cold, this is a great hat. I own several, and just bought another. I love boonie hats, but the Sport Hat can keep out all angles of sunlight. It is feathery light on your head, but it is still rugged. This is my third one as others finally wore out or got damaged. I was initially looking for something that has the mini drawstring/tightener on the back of the hat, above the brim. I don ’ t like having something dangling while I swing. This hat has the typical drawstring that hangs under your chin, but has clips so you can remove it if you want. I also have a small head and this was the only thing that didn ’ t look enormous on me.
