I ’ m about 41- 42 ” hips, and the pants definitely fit on the bigger side: adjustable tabs as tight as they get, and still easily go over jeans or multiple layers with plenty extra room. The ski pants is true to the size for very slim fit; I 'm 5'11 '', 140lbs, and I can fit a medium weight base layer legging into M size( if you stature is about the same, do n't go for L, it 'll be way too loose, almost like regular/goofy fit). The material is also fairly stretchy, unlike some more waterproof/hardcore surface. It's not insulated with down/etc. but it has an inner fleece and is relatively warm. The design is really good, if you are looking for something flattering and can show off your leg.

I love the fit on these pants! I am a size 6- 8 and the M fits perfect! I like them more snug because they are more flattering& I do not feel like a marshmallow. These are warmer than my North Face snoga pant and just as flattering. I can wear a think wool layer underneath on cold days. I find Roxy brand to run on the smaller size, so size up if you are unsure. I would say they are a juniors sizing not ladies. I personally like the high waist& elastic waistband for curvy figures- it keeps the snow out if you take a tumble.

[ I ’ ve had a really difficult time finding technical ski wear to fit. I am 5 ’ 3 ”, 105 lbs. the XS fits perfectly with a bit of room for xtra layering. I ended up trading the thermo pant for the non insulated( it has a thin inner lining which is perfect) but both are really a great fit and best quality( aka waterproof)

I needed something more than a shell to stay warm riding lifts and skiing on stormy days. These pants fit the bill! I love the roomy pockets. The zippers are smooth, which is n't always the case with ski clothing.
