These are a great looking shoe. They feel as though they ’ re made well. My only complaint is they seem to run on the shorter and more narrow side. I do not have a wide foot and I usually wear the same size in Nike, so I was surprised these seemed narrow and shorter than usual. They ’ re a bit snug, but not snug enough that they ’ re very uncomfortable. I wish I had sized up a half size from my regular size. If you are between sizes or your foot swells occasionally, I ’ d definitely suggest going up a half size.

Great shoe, it fits really well and Nike seems to have found it's way again by going back to basis. What stops me from giving 5/5 starts is that although it offers an excellent fell and fits like a glove around your foot, I would have liked better support/fit around the ankle( the opening seems to need a bit more cushioning like the Air Max has to offer). Maybe bring back the laces v- shape from older models, it used to offer a bit of a tighter fit. Overall great shoe, I would highly recommend!

I purchased with the intention of wearing them in the weight room- no desire to run and/or jump in them. They provide excellent ankle support and a wide toe base so that you 're able to get your feet set before every lift. The firm sole provides little toe bend, which I appreciate. This is a fantastic boot! I never liked Nike ’s other boots and usually went with Rockys or Salomons, but these really surprised me. I ’ ve put them through two years of hard wear, including two deployments. They ’ re great for field work, and surprisingly, they can handle the “ intense ” conditions of office life too( perfect for all you back office people who think walking to the water cooler is a workout!). The only reason I needed a new pair is because my dog chewed one up, so they ’ re not dog- proof—go figure. All in all, an excellent boot. Nice job, Nike!
