These are my favourite shorts to run in. They are comfortable and do n't ride up. The pockets are wide enough to fit my phone in and it gives me confidence that my keys and phone are secure. I ran an ultra marathon( 40 miles) in these and I had no problems. I tried and tested a few brands before I found these shorts( others rub or ride up). I bought these for my runs in the dark to have a little extra visibility. They are not super thick for warmth but are good enough for most Seattle conditions. The size Medium does feel a little big( I normally wear size 6) and I have to pull the drawstrings tight to keep them secure.

[ The Run Visible Tights from Brooks are my new go to running tights. I am very impressed with the overall quality of these tights. FIT: I 'm 5' 6 and 130 lbs and usually wear a size 4; these leggings in size M fit me just perfect. FABRIC: I love the fabric – fairly thick and smooth, not lined, and have a good stretch. When working out at the gym, they move with you when exercising. VISIBILITY: I usually run late afternoon and it is getting dark early, especially in winter, it is extremely important for me to have reflective and visible workout gear. These tights have bright yellow at the leg bottoms and a number of reflectors that are easy to see in low light. I have a peace of mind when running after dark. COMFORT: These tights are very comfortable and provide the right amount of compression. My absolute favorite features are drop- in pockets on both sides and stay- put waistband. It is amazing that the waistband always stays firmly put no matter how low you go, either you squat, jump or flow from pose to pose. These are the most comfortable leggings I 've ever owned. It doesn ’ t get much better than that!

The air holes look to be laser cut and have held up well on my other method bottoms( 8 inch and 7/8 pants) so I ’ m not concerned. The compression feels good to me and I like the waist band height. I had ordered a S and a M fearing they ’ d be super tight but am returning the M as the S fits me well. I ’ ve been wearing them on nyc summer runs and will likely wear these into mid/late fall before switching to full length and then brooks fleece lined bottoms for my winter runs.
