I have two pair of these. They are one of the few “ traditional ” trainers left. Some people may find the high heel/toe drop to be awkward at first, but it suits my running really well. Depending on what you ’ re used to, the cushioning may feel firm to some. Regardless, I ’ ve found they offer ample protection. This is a neutral shoe, but also very stable with a fairly wide base. I ’ ve taken them anywhere from 3 to 12 miles and usually forget they ’ re on my feet. Also I have a pair of the Ghost 15s and much prefer the feel of the DNA Loft 3 foam of the 16s. As per usual, Brooks quality of construction is the best in the biz. For reference I run 20- 25 miles per week.

I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi- built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. I got these for walking. So far I walked 50km in these and they feel amazing. My estimated normal size is ~13. 2 but since no one makes size 13. 5 I 'm usually either a bit cramped( big toe pushed inwards) in a 13 or swimming in a 14. I got these in size 14 and while they are slightly long, the lockdown around the midfoot is excellent and long length has never been a problem- on the contrary, I enjoy the airy feel in the toe box. The cushioning is just right for walking( or heavier runners)- it's noticeably stiffer than a typical running shoe so I do n't feel like I 'm walking on quicksand. I walked up to 15km per day in these, spending on my feet all day, and there was never any foot pain and my legs felt awesome. These trousers were the reason for me to fall in love with the Fjällräven brand. I 've used them extensively while camping, tenting, hiking and- yes- winter mountaineering. I absolutely love the design, materials and functionality. Those were my first pair of hiking pants with pre- bent knees and I felt the difference in comfort and freedom of movement. In hot summer days, they might feel a bit heavy, so the ventilations are essential to keep you cool. I can appreciate the front pockets as well, as they have enough depth and are easy to reach on the go. My pair is ageing quite well and has no issues with the durability even after extensive use and washing cycles- the color on the G- 1000 does start to fade a bit, but it looks even cooler that way. Overall these are one of my favorite trousers. For the winter mountain, they are a bit baggy and may get in the way of your crampons, so I switched to a pair of Bergtagen Stretch for that. Still, they can do the job and will not let you down. For all other seasons, they are unbeatable.

These pants are a perfect work pant with the lightweight relaxed fit and oversized pockets. They are stylish with the front stitching on the legs and are nice enough to be worn as a casual outfit. Overall a really nice pair of pants!

These pants feel durable, comfortable and lightweight. I 've worn these for doing work in the yard and they have held up so far and have kept my legs from cuts from brush. If you come across these pants on a sale, I would not pass them up.

These pants were bought for my 16 year old son. They fit true to size, have tons of pockets and are made of a very sturdy material. They ’ ve been washed and dried three times and the color/size is unchanged. I would highly recommend these pants.
