The tapered leg and ankle cuff keep the pants safely out of the bike chain. They dry fast, are stretchy and have zippered pockets. I bought a size medium and small to compare. The quality is amazing! Take it easy with these they are delicate in my opinion. Be sure to unzip the zippers at the bottom of the pants to smoothly get your feet through them. I would n't force my foot through the pants while the ankle zipper is zipped. Again, they are delicate. Once you have them on, you are good to go. Also, these pants could easily be snagged on something and possibly rip. For the price, you would want to take it easy. Moreover, I love the tailoring, material, zippers at the ankle, rubber around the waist, and zippers on the side pockets. I 'm buying my second pair today in gray. I love to travel in these.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium.
