I have worn a gambler straw hat when playing golf for more years than I can remember. They are comfortable, cool and good sun protection. Emphasis on the sun protection. I have no real skin problems compared to my golf friends who wear caps. That was n't the reason I originally wore the hat but it is now. Tip you can dunk the hat in a sink to clean it and then wear on a hot day.

I love to wear this hat around town or when we ’ re out on sunny days. It ’s very comfortable, and the brim holds its shape well. I don ’ t use it when I ’ m out gardening or mowing the lawn because I prefer my other Sunday afternoon sun hat that I can throw in the washing machine if it get dirty. That ’s not to say that I couldn ’ t use this for light yardwork. It would be great with the sun protection, I just prefer to not get mine dirty.
