I bought a pair a few years ago for general exercise and discovered they are excellent for cool/cold weather mountain biking( and cycling in general). The tapered leg and ankle cuff keep the pants safely out of the bike chain. They dry fast, are stretchy and have zippered pockets. I bought a size medium and small to compare. Really great old school joggers. Not too heavy, not too light, but perfect for winter or damp cool days. Do n't expect some flimsy Adidas track pant, these are well made all cotton. They actually wrap around the leg nicer than I thought, as long as you wear them up a bit, they do n't look too baggy or anything. I 'm 6' 1 '' and the Medium is sort of just right. You might be able to size down, but I 'm glad I stuck with my usual size. I bought the matching shorts as well and they 're great, may eventually buy the matching sweater or hoodie.
