I purchased the grey Latitude hat in March 2019. It has traveled in my suitcase to multiple places over the years, and washing machine cycles, and it still has its shape. Since I started having children in 2019 it gets worn when I am outside no matter what. Most sun hats I have purchased fade from the constant sun exposure, but not the grey one. The brim has lost a lot of its firmness over the years, but it still retains its shape and does not sag or has gotten wrinkly. Recently I purchased the BlueStone color of this hat and it ’s beautiful. My grey one is my main garden hat now the blue one has replaced my daily use.

I told them, but said, don ’ t get too excited because the color selection is poor. Sadly, colors are same as when I bought mine. This hat is cool because it has a brim for sun protection but it's not huge and floppy. Size up for a bit more brim, or down for a more compact brim. It's light, well- made and protects you for those hot Summer days or desert hikes.

Bought this one to replace old one that was blue and has traveled around the world with me. Love how light and compact it can be when not wearing it and how you can expand it for wearing to keep sun off your face and neck. Only reason I have to replace old one after 12+ years is because of the metal in the outer part finally snapped in few spots. So outer part does not hold shape as well especially in wind. Mind you I washed it with similar color clothes probably once or wove a year( which might not have been recommended) and would fold it over twice to fit in top of back back on travel days in airports and buses. I ’ m just happy I still had tag on old hat to find company to buy this new one. The old one I will still wear around house doing yard work. Needless to say after buying several different hats this if my favorite one for spring, summer, and fall. Thank you for this wonderful design that stands up to my abuse and keeps looking great.

I pair this visor with earmuffs when I wear my parka with the hood up. I wanted to shade my face and eyes from the sun. I have been looking for the perfect visor for several years after my favorite was discontinued. Most of the ones with wider brims were just too big and made me look silly. I have a very small face. And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. I love the lightness; however, I ’ m not sure how they will fair in strong winds. I also wish they had more colors to choose from. I like the light gray, however, it didn ’ t allow me to tighten it enough; The light purple was easier to tighten to my needs. Another way visor would be even better is to have a terrycloth lining on the inside of the headband.

I bought the blue bucket hat for a Florida kayaking trip and it was great! The cord that holds it on was totally necessary because we had wind gusts and other people's hats were blowing off. I did let my granddaughter borrow mine for awhile.

[ This is a really nice hat. Bright retro colors and retro style. Very comfortable, and does a good job keeping the sun off my head. It might have been nice if the strings were removable, in case you did n't want to wear them all the time, but I can just tuck them up inside the hat. With the cinch cord on the back, it stays on your head pretty well even without using the strings below your chin.
