I love that these shorts are high waisted as well, it gives me that nice snatched feeling and there is no issue with the waist band rolling when you move around. I am usually an XL in Nike bottoms and the XL size for these shorts fit perfectly. So far I have worn them for strength training, running, and walking indoors. More importantly, I love the fact that the thigh area( hems) aren ’ t stitched. My personal opinion is that Nike ’s biker shorts are made for women with slimmer/smaller quads. I didn ’ t have high hopes for these( tbh i never buy nike because i just assume they dont make good running gear) but the magenta color short was calling for me. I sized up to a M even though the size chart says I should be a S, but i ’ m glad i sized up. These are EXCELLENT running shorts. The waist did n't fold over, even when i was sitting down. They did n't slide down during my 4 miles run/walk. I dont think i had to adjust the legs or pull the waist up even one time. There ’s no seem at the leg opening so i had NO chafing. I have always been a 6 ” inseam bike short gal, but i will be buying more 8 ” inseam shorts because of these. I want them in more colors! I think the only downside is that the side pockets are kind of small. I have the iPhone 13 mini, and it fits, but i dont think any larger of a phone could fit. The pockets are an appropriate size for gels, energy bars, etc. but definitely not the iphone pro max lol. Overall great running short!
