[ I recently had the opportunity to try out the Smartwool Men's Classic Thermal Merino Base Layer 1/4 Zip, and I must say, it quickly became one of my favorite pieces of outdoor clothing. [ I ’ ve worn them all. But smartwool has it figured out. They are the best in the business for warmer base layers. I literally wear the crew neck with a 1/4 zip under my uniform. It provides supreme warmth, breathable base, and keeps you dry. And these are flat out durable.
