I ’ ve been using the peloton guide for a year now and I absolutely love it! I start every day with a 30 minute routine, either upper body or body or core. I particularly like the instructor Ben Aldis. This is a great upbeat way to get both strength and cardio in a 30 minute workout. The weights are incredibly well designed and are things of beauty.

The Peloton Guide is a good tool for Peloton classes that I take daily. I do n't have the bike, tread or row so I 'm only using the guide for the other classes. The guide has helped in reviewing my form such as squats. It has told me to keep my chest up and go a little lower during some sessions. The guide allows me to compare my form with the instructors. Another feature of the guide is to see the leader board or at least others that are taking the class at the same time. I can see their name/nicknames, ages, location and cardiac zone. I 'm surprised that I am usually the only one with a heart rate monitor( I am using Whoop). I also have used chest monitors when I first started Peloton. The camera on the Guide is wide angle so it covers the room quite well but sometimes I have to move my exercise mat to the left of center to get the camera to show me in the middle of the screen. The Guide camera also seem to have an automatic Zoom feature that helps in keeping you centered in the screen. As far as the Peloton classes go, there are instructors that I prefer because of their personalities and choreographed classes. They each have a style class and it makes for more rounded workouts by taking different instructors. Some instructors are very strong and hard to keep up with. One of the features of the classes is the ability to bookmark a class and easily find them again. I bookmarked a few of my favorite classes with I first started Peloton and would go back and take them again to see how I have progressed. However, last year some genius at Peloton decided it would be a good idea to delete all the old classes, which included my favorite classes that I started out with. That made me so mad and I wrote to the support and whoever else I could find to complain. I did n't hear back from anyone. Support has n't been good. I like to go to resorts and use the Peloton bikes. Recently, I went to Las Vegas and NYC. There were two bikes in Las Vegas and one bike had a broken seat height lever so the seat height could n't be adjusted. In NYC, there were five bikes with two bikes with signs that said out of order, one bike could n't connect to the Internet and one bike had a number to call for Peloton support. I complained to Pelton about all their broken bikes and they told me that it was the hotel's responsibility to get the bikes serviced. Ok, that's fine but what is the difference if the hotel or I complain about the broken bikes? In either case, their bikes were not working and with that many bikes out of order, you have to wonder if the bikes are just not very reliable. This got off the track of Guide but gives and example of the kind of support you might get.
