For the first time in years Kentucky is having a very cold and snow filled winter. I haven ’ t received packages in over a week! Thankfully I ordered these for myself for Christmas. I got both white and black. Obsessed!!!! They are extremely comfortable. They were hard to put on the first couple of times due to being styling around the ankles but they are breaking in nicely., I normally wear a size 8. 5 but ordered 9 due to other reviewers suggesting in order to wear thick socks. If you have a narrow foot like mine I suggest sticking to your normal size. I ’ m considering passing these to my DIL and ordering my correct size. I have a picture of me standing in 4 or 5 inches of snow. I don ’ t know how to convert it to the correct file or I ’ d share. Feet never got wet or cold. My son and DIL just recently had my first grandchild. I ’ ve trucked back and forth in these boots daily. Traction is great. I went out in a different warm fuzzy brand and about wiped out. I purchased the Men's Mt. Maddsen Slip- On Shoe in October 2022 about a month before a trip to Northern Ireland. I was looking for a comfortable hiking shoe. Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip- ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip- ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. After 2 years of hard use( I write this in 2024) the soles are worn, but no separation at all from the leather uppers. Very well made.( This is for the model A6660 made in Vietnam)

Let me start off by saying I am a true 6. 5, never a 6 and very super rarely a 7. I used their size chart and measuring guide and found that I fell between the 6. 5/7 so I decided to size up and I 'm glad I did. I have just enough room around my toe in the box, and my heel has just enough space to move until they really get soft and cozy. I also have bunionettes, and sizing up with a regular width is definitely giving them some room. They are very comfortable on my feet. I purchased the black, and I am very pleased with how beautiful these boots are. Much prettier in person than the picture. I will probably purchase a second pair that I will be happy to dirty up so I can keep a nicer pair. I am very happy with my purchase!

I decided to buy a new pair of winter boots since my previous pair( from a different brand) kept giving me blisters. One of my professors used to be a Timberland exec and he always raved about the quality of the shoes, so I decided to try them out. I ordered 2 different styles of winter boots, each in 2 sizes. I did n't love the roll- top boots, so those promptly got returned. I ended up keeping the size 9 of the 6 '' waterproof-- the boots had a clean look and the leather is well sewn and finished, I 've worn them to work and they do n't look out of place with my button- up shirt and slacks. The boots feel a little heavy while wearing them, but honestly I prefer that since they feel more durable and rugged. I 've since worn the boots both with and without thick winter socks and had no problems. They were comfortable from Day 1 and have n't given me blisters. My biggest gripe is that the shoelaces are too short- even when I lace the boots as tightly as possible, I am left with maybe 3- 4 '' of lace to tie with. The 6 '' roll- top boots I returned had longer laces than these despite having a similar style, so this was a disappointment.

I wore these for about a week in Finland in pretty thick snow and slush – they held up great! No scuffs, no damage, no leaks. I know it's only been one week of wear, but they feel really solid. I can imagine these holding up for at least 8 seasons. They 're also SO CUTE.

I really like these boots! I was looking for something higher for our heavy Western NY snowfalls( Orchard Park!) They are the perfect height. They have a very thick tread too. I wanted them to meet my utilitarian needs first but I think they ’ re also stylish. The color is nice. It ’s sort of a stone color. That ’s better than black which shows the dirt and salt stains. I normally wear a 7. 5 in sneakers. I bought an 8 because I wanted to make sure I could wear a heavy sock or slipper sock inside my them. I ’ m very happy with the size. I think they ’ re pretty warm too.
