I have been using these Columbia pants for several years. They hold up extremely well, are light weight, dry quickly and protect me from wind and sun. They were great for hiking; convenient due to all the pockets, durable, comfortable, and they look great. I am 5 ft tall( short and stocky) but they cinch around my ankles and don ’ t drag. [ These pants were exactly what I needed for a hiking trip in Iceland. We spent 10 days driving around the country and hiking in rain, behind waterfalls and visiting a( melting) glacier. The pants have zippers from ankle to thigh I so I could easily put them on without taking my hiking boots off and then remove them before getting back in the car to keep my seat dry. They were a last minute purchase and SO glad I had them!

I am 5' 3 '' and 143lbs. I wear a medium but wanted these pants large to fit over leggings and cold winter wear for a trip to Iceland. They are baggy as they should be. I bought a large and have room to wear both baselayer and leggings over. I like them baggy; they cinch tight and the ankles have good velcro and long leg zippers for a quick pull on in sudden rain. I 'm excited to take these on my trip. I am a true `` medium '' and could wear these over single leggings in that size but, I 'm skydiving and need the wind and rain protection so extra layers are essential. Trip in July, let you know how they hold up after.

These are the best pants ever!! As a woman, I originally tried on the two versions of the women's convertible pants, but they are completely inferior. Besides the difference in fit, the men's pant comes with a belt( this adjusting buckle type of belt is the best and stays put even when hiking) and the women's does not. Additionally, this pant has pockets on both thighs and two in the back, and the women's has half that and are much less useful. I love the variety in pocket types in this pant( open vs zip vs velco flap), great for storing my dirty bits and paper map and fire starter all separately. Super lightweight, so wearing the full pant never seems like overkill. I have five pairs of this pant now, with plans to buy more! The most versatile pant, perfect for any trip!

I had Columbia hiking pants for a couple of years and wanted to add to the collection. I got tusk and stone green. Very functional for hiking and travel as they are very easy to compact while packing. Light material is comfortable and airy for hot, humid weather and they are quick drying. I used these for the first time in Costa Rica and it was one of the few materials that dried with the humid conditions. The color- coded zippers was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

I love these pants. Lightweight, comfortable, and look great on you( at least I think they look great one me) I always have a hard time finding pants short enough for me. Normally short inseams are always too long for me, but these pants are perfect for a short gal like me. These are really comfortable when I ’ m out and about or working around the house.
