I happen to see them standing in the corner looking like something attacked them. One was ragged in the top so I bought a new pair. I found out what happened. Brida, our blue healer puppy was having a good time with Dad ’s boot. We have beef cattle and live Up North Minnesota where there is black dirt and clay underneath. If you 're need is to do delicate footwork in steep or awkward terrain these are not the boots for you. But, if you 're spending a lot of time working outside in Wyoming in winter in snow, on ice, and in the very special kind of mud we have up here, they are stellar. I had a little break in period to soften up the ankles a little. They are warm, without heavy socks, even in sub- zero° F temps, comfy, 100% waterproof, and easy to clean. Sizing winter boots has been quite challenging. I wear a 10. 5 medium width athletic shoe/ 44. 5 cycling shoe. I tried many brands and sizes including LL Bean, KEEN, Columbia, Muck, and a few more. Boots like this can feel stiff so I prefer thicker wool socks for added cushion and insulation. An 11. 5 was snug but not too tight( like the 11) and gave me enough wiggle room in the toe box. When I finally got outdoors with them, I found them warm and comfortable walking around for more than two hours through slush and snow on trails and streets. They are quick to slip on and lace up, quick to unlace and slip off. I am very satisfied with them.

The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. I ’ ve been wearing Merrill shoes since I was in the Army. I got this particular model in 2010 and it felt like I was Spider- Man humping up and down the Hindu Kush. I also recommend the chameleons! So now that it ’s been ten years I picked up going for long walks and was wearing tennis shoes. I went back to these and love them! The only issue is my left foot toe bed was rubbing but it ’s an uncommon issue and only happened AFTER my eight miles during a cool down mile. I previously did ten miles in these and had no issue! No limping, no true pain beyond having walked ten/eight miles, no blisters. I ’ m happy the quality is still top notch since 2010.

I use the 10 '' insulated for winter hiking and snowshoeing, the low for rocky terrain in warm weather, and have been running a set of Premium Mids for fall hiking. With my current mids having put in a long service life, including plenty of winter wear, I was due for a new set. They 've made some thoughtful improvements to the tongue and lace hooks, but everything else that I love about the shoes remains intact. This boot is so unbelievably comfortable, but it does run large. I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! Half size down should do it, and I ca n't wait for the 9. 5 to arrive. They are great quality, cozy, and well worth the spend.

I am obsessed with these boots and they are literally the best snow boots. I walk about 2 miles a day and these literally are so comfortable and never get wet. The grips on the bottom have made me be able to not fall on slippery sludge or ice which has been the most impressive part of my experience with these boots.

Love these boots! They are well worth the money. They are warm and very comfortable. They fit true to size. Had to wear them to the airport when flying out of EWR and ORD in the winter, including trekking/running to catch a connecting flight. Even though it was the first time wearing them, I had no blisters or soreness. They easily slipped on and off. So happy I had them to deal with the cold of both cities.

I have had these boots for 10 years and they still look brand new! They are warm and comfortable, perfect for a snowy outing like tubing. I ’ ve noticed a lot of these reviews are negative, but it seems they are working in these boots. These are definitely more of a cute fashion boot than a work boot. I have walked miles in the deep snow and had many tubing adventures with these boots. Treat them well and they will treat you good also!
