Let me start off by saying I am a true 6. 5, never a 6 and very super rarely a 7. I used their size chart and measuring guide and found that I fell between the 6. 5/7 so I decided to size up and I 'm glad I did. I have just enough room around my toe in the box, and my heel has just enough space to move until they really get soft and cozy. I also have bunionettes, and sizing up with a regular width is definitely giving them some room. They are very comfortable on my feet. I purchased the black, and I am very pleased with how beautiful these boots are. Much prettier in person than the picture. I will probably purchase a second pair that I will be happy to dirty up so I can keep a nicer pair. I am very happy with my purchase!

I decided to buy a new pair of winter boots since my previous pair( from a different brand) kept giving me blisters. One of my professors used to be a Timberland exec and he always raved about the quality of the shoes, so I decided to try them out. I ordered 2 different styles of winter boots, each in 2 sizes. I did n't love the roll- top boots, so those promptly got returned. I ended up keeping the size 9 of the 6 '' waterproof-- the boots had a clean look and the leather is well sewn and finished, I 've worn them to work and they do n't look out of place with my button- up shirt and slacks. The boots feel a little heavy while wearing them, but honestly I prefer that since they feel more durable and rugged. I 've since worn the boots both with and without thick winter socks and had no problems. They were comfortable from Day 1 and have n't given me blisters. My biggest gripe is that the shoelaces are too short- even when I lace the boots as tightly as possible, I am left with maybe 3- 4 '' of lace to tie with. The 6 '' roll- top boots I returned had longer laces than these despite having a similar style, so this was a disappointment.

The boot is fairly lightweight and rugged. Very simple boot without much to it. Fits true to size and is able to lace up securely. Not as stiff as most other wading boots. I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. These boots appear as if they were made to last. I would recommend this boot to others. I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. Not a con in the least bit, though a bit of a bummer in the long run. So after spending about 40 hours over a few days in these boots, i am very happy with my georgia boots.

I do have to purchase a new pair yearly do to the climate in Tucson AZ, in the summer gets really hot where the soles wear out really fast. They are comfortable and I can walk around and stand all day without problems. They look great- I love the simple design and low profile logo. Highly recommend- these are the most comfortable and well made Chelsea boots that I have ever worn.

I 've been really pleased with these boots. I have n't owned them for too long, so I ca n't speak to their durability. These are a light- weight alternative to heavier, stiffer rubber boots. I like this company and in the past, when I had an issue with their boots, they stood behind their product and replaced some boots quickly and without any questions.
