5 Retired patroller.
My hands always go numb from the cold below 15 degrees. I ’ ve tried top tier mittens and wool liners to no avail. With these mittens I skied all day at 10 degrees and two breaks and kept my hands warm. I used medium and low settings most of the time and still had half the battery left at the end of the day. I can ’ t wait to go again this week and see how they do in near zero temperatures. Definitely worth the price.

5 JuleC
These really help keep my hands warm. You have to charge them every time you use them though…the battery doesn ’ t last long if you set them on medium or high.

Love them. Best gloves ever. Keep your hands warm

5 JW
Nice gloves, durable, warm. Fit nicely, should last many seasons.

5 Brett
[ I bought these gloves at the height of winter and I have not looked back. They are extremely warm and keep your hands dry in every condition. They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

5 DerekVentures
’ m a ski patroller and avalanche instructor in the Rockies and I need my gear to be durable and allow me to do my job appropriately by keeping me warm and mobile. Pros The elastic leash is comfortable and low- profile and allows easy removal of gloves without dropping them in the snow. The leather is durable and stands up to skiing abuse The gloves are remarkably warm- usually I change over to mittens earlier than most, but these gloves are great due to the insulation and fusing The powder skirt is quite large and cinch- able which makes it amazing at keeping any snow from getting into the gloves, even when messing around in an avalanche pit. Cons The gloves fit a bit small even after ordering by the size guide- this can easily be mitigated by ordering up a size

The touch screen capability is nice for opening my phone, but obviously, the fingers are too large to do anything other than tap( not for typing). Still great!

5 outdoor bookworm
Love these gloves. They 're warm and fit great. My glove size is a large. These gloves snug up to your hands and do n't try to slide off the hand. They 're waterproof and they have rubber grippers on the palm for if you 're moving boxes or other heavy items your hands will not slip. Also you can use your phone while wearing them.

[ The padding is enough to make hand feel lighter on handle bars. I ordered large but they are a little tight. Need time to see how durable they are.. I ride about 6 miles daily on flat hard pavement.

5 Rickster
[ This is the 5th pair of Pearl Izumi gel gloves I have purchased over the past 10 years. They are well made and last me 2- 3 years per pair. I really like the cushion these gloves provide. They absorb shock and prevent numbness extremely well.

5 Taylor Edmonton
[ I have big hands; and you know what they say about a man with big hands! They have trouble getting properly fitted cycling gloves! These gloves are great in XL, they are comfortable and close fitting without restricting circulation but not so big that they gap open. Love the black color too!

5 PB and J
[ Was in need of a new pair of gloves and glad that I chose these. The fabric seems durable but is breathable and the padding feels great. I 've been using these for both mountain and road rides.

I 've always had issues with cold hands while skiing. My best pair are the 3 finger Hestra glove which until i bought these, were my go to warm gloves. Even with the Hestra gloves, my fingers would get cold below 15°. Recently we were planning a ski trip and the forcast temps were to be a high of 0° and i knew my other gloves would not be sufficient, so i decided to purchase the Action heat gloves. I was very happy, with the sub 0° temps, my hands stayed warm. With those temps, I did keep them on the high setting knowing that I had also purchased a 2nd set of batteries which I 'm glad i did. I also have a Action Heat vest that i bought a few years ago and its been great too.

I ride my motorcycle everyday and was having issues with my fingertips hurting as the weather got colder so I figured it was finally time to invest in some heated gloves. I was glad to find these open box sale ones and used a coupon code as well, so I got a great deal on them. They seemed brand new to me, and I ’ ve been using them for a few weeks now with no issues. My fingertips haven ’ t hurt since!

I have Raynaud ’s number in my hands. I need heat from around 46 degrees down. I have the gloves and mittens. Both work excellent!

The Gloves are perfect for Motorcycle Riding in the cold

5 IceQueen2020
My husband bought this for me as a gift. I ’ ve only worn them once for skiing so far( weather has been too warm this winter), but am in love already! I have Raynauld ’s syndrome which makes my hands super cold all the time. I usually put Hothands packs in my gloves to stay warm but my finger tips still get chilly enough to send me into the lodge for a bit. These heated snow gloves have warning elements that run through each finger. When I started to get cold, I turned the heating element on high for about 5 mins. After a couple of runs, I was plenty warm& turned them off all together. It wasn ’ t a super cold day( mid 40 ’s). I was outside for about 6 hours or so& probably only had the battery on for 1/2 hr total( the gloves themselves are nicely insulated). There was enough battery left to charge my phone on the drive home.

5 Tevin T
Great DWR and tough material for transitioning while backcountry riding. They have enough dexterity in order to put together a split board without having to take gloves off or get the gloves soaking wet.

5 Kelly C
I use these type of gloves for cold weather hiking/camping. I like to use gloves that allow my fingers to still be functional, so these are perfect.

5 Margaret
I 've been using these for cold weather biking. They are warm, slightly wind resistant and there is no seam along the inside of the thumb and palm so there's no pressure point when gripping handlebars. Unexpected but great feature. Just right. Also good for general use in cold, but not frigid temperatures. Great contoured fit.

4 Cameron G
These things definitely run a bit hot. I can barely take them of cold trail runs, and actually go with thinner gloves. But they 're great for backcountry skiing. They are also a bit small, I would go up one size than you think.

4 Daniel Clay B
I ordered a size medium because that's what the OR website recommended, but the gloves were too small. I 'm 6' 0 '' and 180 pounds. Should have gone with a large. Otherwise, great glove.

5 Scott
Very good gloves. Just enough padding and very comfortable

5 Tony L
Simple clean design, good fit and high quality feel. Perfect amount of padding- not too much. Fabric is robust and so should prove to be durable, but perhaps not the most breathable for hot weather. Will be great on cooler days.

My son was playing in a tournament and he could n't get his fingers to release the disc because it was so cold during the first round. We bought the gloves and he improved by 20 strokes in the second round. He said that his hands were entirely warm but, more importantly, he enjoyed the pliability, grip, and precision it offered his fingers.
