[ I weight lift 4- 5 times a week, so I use these often. My only complaint is I find it a tad bit difficult to do suitcase squats with them because of them being a bit bulky and if I 'm wearing shorts, they scrape my legs so on those days I have to wear leggings or sweatpants. That said, the fact that they go up to 90lbs it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Now if only there was a compact hip thrust weight product for small apartments( hint, hint) or at the very least a weighted bar that goes up to 110 or more lbs. Wife and I bought these a little under a year ago for our homegym. Prior to that we had a couple of pairs of standard metal dumbbells. We wanted these to replace them and have more variety and they 've been perfect. I know people with the 552 adjustables and they 're all plastic and have broken pieces after owning for not too long. And they ca n't replace the parts so they 're just sol. These are all metal weighted parts with plastic/ rubber handle assembly and plastic weight adjusting slot piece. The only piece I could see breaking is the plastic slotted piece used for adjustment and that's only if you 're careless as it seems very durable and flexible. And if it were to break it would be breeze to replace. And you can buy expansions to have an even larger weight selection! 100% recommend these to anyone looking for a set of adjustable dumbbells. After almost a year of regular use they 've been incredible and have almost no signs of wear.

This is a very durable, flexible, and elegant dumbbell set. You can adjust the weight by adding or subtracting weight plates, which means that one pair of dumbbells allows you to do many different exercises. Yes, it takes a minute to screw the collars on and off to change weights-- but you need to rest a minute between sets anyway. And you can screw the collars on snuggly so that the weight plates do n't rattle around like other quick- adjust dumbbell sets( and this set costs far less). Finally, the plastic case is a nice touch if you need to put the weights away when the grand kids come over for a play date.

I was questioning whether to buy this based on the lack of reviews, but decided someone has to be the first to buy and make a real review( instead of just complaining about shipping, just do store pickup wacko) Anyways, this thing was pretty straight forward with assembly. I tested squatting on it, not a ton, about 300lbs and even dropped it onto the spotting bars. It took it like a champ when I re racked and also dropped weight on the bars. It was n't shaky or rocking, even when I do n't have it bolted to the floor( which it does come with bolts for that). The spotting bars are very thick and sturdy as well. The only thing I could complain about is the bench has a little wobble, but it's minimal and does n't wobble while I am sitting, or laying on it. Overall I 'd say it's definitely worth purchasing if you are not sure.

Pro: I have only had the bench a couple of weeks, but in that time I have found it a very sturdy and versatile piece of equipment. The adjustable back allows me to work my chest from multiple angles, hit my rear shoulder and back with chest supported raises and dumb bell rows, and the leg attachment lets me finish off my legs after a squat work out. Con: The major issue I have with the bench is that it sits kind of high off of the ground and I have kind of short legs, so I have a hard time getting a good leg drive on my bench.

First, the instructions for putting this together were first class. They were very clear, and each step's nuts and bolts were shrink wrapped to a labeled piece of cardboard with drawings of the included nuts and bolts. Secondly this is a very durable bench and has gotten a lot of use by the whole family. My single complaint is that I am short( 5' 3 '') and while I can use it, I would have felt better if it were an inch lower to the ground. However, perhaps a tall person would be inconvenienced by that. I can certainly reach the leg curl rollers, so it works fine.

Most dumbbells' weight sets include curl bars as part of the total poundage, but this vinyl weight set is fully 40 lbs of weights, which means to add the weights to your leg developer, straight bar, etc., you can count on 40 total pounds. I 'm very happy with my purchase of this weight lifting bench. It is made of very strong powder coated steel and has a very hard cushion( not squishy at all). Because the padding is not `` rounded '', I just throw a regular bed pillow over it for `` comfort ''- I 'd much rather have it they way they made it than have a soft mushy cushion that only lasts a few months. This bench will likely last many `` YEARS '' of regular use. I weigh about 205 Lbs and usually lift dumbells between 50 and 100 Lbs for about anywhere from 500 to 1200 lifts. So, as I get a decent workout- the bench is getting one too( LOL). I only buy things that are VERY well made and Built To Last, I absolutely despise JUNK. If you are looking for a HIGH QUALITY Portable Bench I think you 'll like this one. It does n't `` wobble '' even the least little bit and is EASY to Fold and Unfold and EASY to carry in and out of the Closet for storage. The `` Holding Pins '' are attached to the Bench by nice cables so you do n't lose them and the Holding Pins stay in place nicely too. I could n't be happier, unless they `` rounded '' the edges of the cushion to conform more to the center of the natural curvature of the `` human spinal column '' but again, a simple bed pillow makes it perfectly comfortable and is not a big deal at all given that pretty much everything else is near- perfect. With the legs folded, it fits perfectly into the small space between my stationary bike and the adjacent wall. I have used this bench for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for keeping it out of the way when not used. I do not have a lot of extra space, so it gets folded after each use and put away. I was a little hesitant about buying this at first because of some reviews of taller people and the benches stability, but I have no issues after using it. I am six feet tall and find the bench to be more than adequate, if I sit down right at the end of the bench. I still have a couple of inches before my head would not be on the bench, so I still have room to move around on it. I also like the fact that the bench is not super wide. This way I am not restricted by the bench when I want the dumbbells to go lower than my chest, for a deeper stretch of the arm muscles. The other issue was whether or not it would be stable. I find this to be more than stable. I have had no issues with this bench being unstable. It is very stable. The only way that I could see that this would be a problem is if I lifted heavier weights than I am able to control, which is not recommended and not safe for you or the bench. I am 100 percent happy with this product and highly recommend this bench to anyone who wants a versatile travel or packable bench.

I ordered this because of the bench being separate from the uprights. It took about an hour and a half to assemble. Only thing that I would change is the single foot on the front of the bench, other than that it does what it says it does.
