I wear these over my compression base layer. They are perfect lightweight fabric that is extremely stretchy while not getting heavy once saturated with sweat. They dont restrict movement at all. I tried every high end pair of running shorts on the market and ended up with UA Tech Vents over UA compression shorts. I feel so strong in these it makes me want to get in the gym and run. The Vanish Woven shorts by UA are my go- to shorts for tennis, although I wear them very often casually as well. The six- inch inseam is a blessing as the longer shorts get stuck on my sweaty legs and, frankly, longer shorts look goofy on someone my age. I have been wearing UA shorts throughout the 2000's, but the Vanish Woven are the most comfortable by far. I can stick a ball in the pocket when serving or rallying, and they do n't feel different. They dry quickly on most days, and do n't droop with sweat on the most humid days. They also wash very well. I 'm glad to add a printed version to my collection. My oldest Vanish Woven is just a few months old. These are made very well( like my previous UA shorts-- some still in action for lawn work, etc.), so I have no doubts they will have great longevity.

These are the training shorts I 've always wanted. I generally hate shorts with liners because the elastic in the leg holes is irritating and annoying. I usually opt for linerless shorts and athletic boxer briefs. These are everything in one. The benefit of these shorts is that the outer shorts are attached to the inner liner. The pockets on these shorts stays put. I have another pair of Nike running shorts and the pocket liner pokes out the bottom when I put my phone in there. So annoying. The only thing I 'd change is the advertised phone pocket in the back is much too small for my iPhone Max. Otherwise these are perfect.

The shorts might run a little small. I tend to wear the L pants but got the XL shorts and they work well for me. I like the internal liner, but still wear by boxer briefs with them. I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. The pockets are a good size, but anything in them will swing as you run or walk fast. the draw string come in handy to tie the shorts off and hold them up.
