I bought these for light hiking and walking for vacation. I wore them 6 days out of 7 on vacation and they were amazing. I felt like I was walking on a cloud and they were comfortable even tho I walked over 12, 000 steps a day in them every day. Running around, prepping for trip, they kept my feet warm and dry in negative temps and snow. Standing for 4+ hours at a time, no problem. These were the only shoes I took on my 7- day trip: walking, hiking, ice, snow, rain, airports, shopping on cobblestone streets- you name it, I did it and my feet felt great. Fortunately I did not experience standing in deep snow or excessive rain, so I ca n't speak to how waterproof they are in extreme climates- but the limited rain and snow I encountered my feet stayed dry. This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

[ I love the look of these and they were generally comfortable, but just wearing them around the house for a few minutes it was clear that the narrow footbed would be a problem on longer hikes, so sadly having to return. I do n't have particularly wide feet and usually do fine in regulars from other brands, these just run more narrow than most. [ I have hiked 1000's of miles on Asolo boots over the years and had many models. This one runs a tad bigger ue I have always been a 10 in the boot line so I would say it fits more like a 10. 5 but comfortable. Very rigid sole, which I look for in a boot and slightly on the heavier side, which does n't bother me. I did see where someone complained about a stitching clustster were the toungue is sewn together amd that was rather uncomfortable as it sat directly beneath one of the lace locks. I took a pair of flat nose pliers to the material wad.. for lack of a better term.. lol and worked it over a bit w the pliers squeezing and turning wo tearing it! So do n't go to crazy just cruah it down and it solved that problem rather easily. Great boot. Fit is larger. Crush the extra material to soften it.

I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. I have been buying the breeze boot for about 20 years now. I would agree that the laces need to be a bit longer so you can double tie them. On zappos web site they advertise that the 7742 has gore tex lining and vibram soles, you might want to check on that one. Other than that the boots are really comfortable.

I 've been through many iterations of the Vasque Breeze, for hiking, search/rescue, and everyday wear. I 'm now looking for a new pair of the 7742, but I see much to my disappointment that the outer sole is no longer Vibram. The part number is the same, but the sole is n't. I wo n't bet my life on anything other than Vibram, so that's the end of the Breeze for me. RIP.

It is fairly stiff( good support) and the rubber is substantial and hard. It is n't super light or the most cushioned shoe. Definitely not for trail running of any kind. There are better shoes for light, fast, and cushiony( see Salomon Speedcross). I wanted these for short hikes on rough terrain or as a simple walkaround shoe or working in the yard. If you do n't want full leather or something similar but a little lighter and breathable check out the Oboz Firebrand.

I use them daily for work and they wear forever, usually wear them for two years and then they become my after work around the house and yard shoe for another two years. They are comfortable, fit very well and wear very well. I climb communications towers and though I ’ m not usually on the tower all day I wear these same shoes while doing 2- 4 hrs of work on the tower. They support my feet very well!

[ These are comfortable right out of the box. They have a generous toe box and I have logged about 50 miles in them with no rubbing, pinching or other issues. I tested their waterproof rating as well and my feet stayed totally dry. Very happy with these shoes.

I 've heard about Keen shoes for while and had been tring to get my husband to try them. He has neuropathy and it makes him a little unstable but the wide toe and rugged bottoms make him feel much more in control of where he's walking.

[ LOVE these shoes!!! So cute and comfortable. Needed warm, waterproof shoes with traction for a trip to Iceland. Straight out of the box these boots were comfy- no break in time necessary. Running around, prepping for trip, they kept my feet warm and dry in negative temps and snow. Standing for 4+ hours at a time, no problem. These were the only shoes I took on my 7- day trip: walking, hiking, ice, snow, rain, airports, shopping on cobblestone streets- you name it, I did it and my feet felt great. Fortunately I did not experience standing in deep snow or excessive rain, so I ca n't speak to how waterproof they are in extreme climates- but the limited rain and snow I encountered my feet stayed dry. Traction was good on snow and ice, I did n't slip or slide once. Use the website measurements to choose your size- it was spot on. These boots look amazing on- they do not make your feet look big and the cream color with the pink laces... cute, cute, cute!!!
