[ Aside from looking like a regular pair of training shoes, these are amazing on the trails! The tread is light enough to be able to run short distances( I ’ ve done about 5 miles mostly incline so far), but also grips and helps with stability on uneven dirt paths. The insoles are comfortable and can be worn on walks and while running errands. They also blend in perfectly with a gym or athleisure outfits which is my favorite part about them. Only “ con ” I have noticed so far is that they feel a little tight in the vamp area( I have pretty narrow feet)- hoping a little wear and tear and fixing the laces a little more will help.

The Zegama 2 has so far been a great shoe. My search for a shoe like this began when my Pegasus 4 GTX's finally hit the retirement cycle of shoes. The Pegasus 4 GTX's were some of the( if not the top) most comfortable shoes that I had ever had while also being capable of light outdoor activities. My instinct was to replace them with the Pegasus 5 GTX's. After exchanging sizes several times, I finally just return the 5's. They were just too tight, did n't fit right, and created a lot of foot pain. I decided to try the Zegama 2's. I actually had my eye on them during my transition from the Pegasus 4's!. These things remind me of the o'so comfortable Pegasus 4 GTX's. The Zegama 2's offer great bounce, support, and comfort! The grip is incredible too, it simply rocks. I play a lot of disc golf and these things have held true in any condition that I 've been in, wet, dry, muddy, slippery, you name it. Also, running any sort of distance in these feels great. They provide great bounce and support. I have n't ran a particularly long distance in them, maybe around 4 miles so far, which felt great and natural. I would n't second guess doubling that mileage or more. Overall these are great. Do n't think twice, grab a pair!.

Traded up to Cascadia 18s- broke out a fresh pair of sixteens vs my new eighteens in a Brooks version of Alien vs Predator on the same trail over consecutive days. I ’ ve had these boots a month and so far they are great. Keep my feet dry and after a short break in period they are comfortable. There is a seam in the heel that if you tighten the laces too tight it will rub but I figured out I didn ’ t need the laces that tight. Overall a quality pair of boots.

I 've done about 30 miles on the AT with these boots now and I am a happy camper. They are extremely lightweight for a boot this size and the waterproofing is excellent. The trail was muddy during an unusually warm spell in February. Lots of snowmelt left mud and puddles everywhere and I felt no need to look for higher ground- I just trudged right through. The boot does run wide enough to feel comfortable for me. I usually wear a `` wide '' shoe or boot and I found that the normal sizing fit my wider toe spread.

I have the altra gators and( not just this shoe but others) the laces do n't go far enough towards to toes so you ca n't use the lace hook on the gator. The mountain has torn up many lesser shoes and shredded all competitors. I 've hiked with XA Pro 3D for ten years and recently switched to the Ultra 360( same shoe, better padding). Everyone I 've recommended them to has stuck with them. Nothing comes close! I highly recommend these for tough terrain.( They 'll probably do great at easy terrain too, but I do n't go there.)

I bought these over 6 months ago and have allowed time for reasonable use before reviewing. I can now comfortably say that I am delighted with these, as they are not only at least as comfortable, if not more so, than previous versions but they are now much more durable, both in terms of the upper sealing/coating and the goretex waterproofing- both showing no signs of wear at all. Overall very happy with them.

A little hard to put on with high arches with heavy socks for winter running, fit OK otherwise. I have purchased many size 10 Brooks shoes over the years with consistent fit. These were purchased specifically for snow, wet conditions, and gravel running and were excellent after our recent blizzard and subzero temperatures.
