I could get a snug well- fitting feel that worked for everyday climbing either in the gym or outside at my local cliffs. This is my third pair of these shoes. They are excellent and even age well, getting soft with time and even more comfortable. They run SMALL though-- I had to order a full size larger than my usual size so my toes did n't hit the front of the shoe.
