I 've had this bag more than a year-- so why so long to write a review? Lot's of things look good on in the store. Plenty of things have room for gear and comfortable straps. This bag did both and I really like it. That its help up through countless tosses into the closet and the back of the car, so many hurried pulls on a zipper because I told my wife we finished playing 10 minutes ago and I should already be headed home for dinner... it's held up and thought you 'd like to know.

Nicely designed with respect to pockets. There are actually 7 separate compartments: 1. Side pouch( perfect for 2 balls or a water bottle) 2. Wide long pouch for up to 3 paddles( maybe 4 if the narrow long pouch is n't used for anything bulky 3. Narrow long pouch, useful for gloves and sun visor 4. Back side small zipper pouch( I keep lip balm, bandaids, and hand warmers in there) 5. Back side full width pouch( velcro closure at halfway point) is useful as it will allow me to stick an extra regular sized disposable water bottle in one half of it. Also useful for anything extra that I just want to shove in there temporarily to get to and from the car. 6. Upper front zipper pouch good for thin things( holds my slim credit card wallet and keys) 7. Lower front zipper pouch( can accommodate thicker items like sunglasses if only 1 or 2 paddles are in the bag) Zippers are smooth and easy. Not* too* small where it struggles to hold the essentials. Not* too* big where it's cumbersome or an abyss for your belongings. Honestly, it's perfect for keeping everything I would otherwise have in my pockets elsewhere. Phone, keys, wallet, headphones, pocket knife, spare change, receipts, and the odd pack of gum or pair of sunglasses. Nothing goes missing. Just right. Usually gravity keeps it at my waist under my arm but I like to hold the strap and slip it around on to the small of my back while I walk. Otherwise it kinda gets in the way of my swinging arm in stride. About as good as a pack can get for the money.
