The tapered leg and ankle cuff keep the pants safely out of the bike chain. They dry fast, are stretchy and have zippered pockets. I bought a size medium and small to compare. [ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

[ The Nike Stride Men's Dri- FIT Woven Running Pants are a good edition to my workout wear. I ’ ve used them to jog on the treadmill, bike on the stationary, and in a few lift sessions. The pants feel good on the skin and didn ’ t cause any irritation while moving or sweating in them. I like that these are a running pant but don ’ t fit skin tight, there ’s room to move around in these. The design is basic as it ’s an all black pants with no special design and a Nike logo, which is fine with me because I don ’ t wear loud or colorful workout gear. The pants have zippers at the ankles to get some extra air if needed and a zipper on the back to hold keys or smaller items while you run/jog. Overall a good running pant and I wouldn ’ t change a thing as they serve their purpose: a good jogging pant you can do other athletics in, roomy, comfortable, and so far durable. Good product.

The zipper at the bottom stays put and gives you the option to loosen them up a little. The pants are slim fit which is fine. I got my original size and they were perfect. The design is good. I would like a few hits of the 3M reflective material on the front. The fabric is breathable and comfortable. After about 30 minutes on the treadmill, they still feel good. They did n't rise up like others have before. The feel smooth and soft on the skin plus do n't restrict movement. I like that the pants have pockets for something like your phone or key fob. No real changes could be made. As is, these pants are a must for the occasional runner or the runner that loves to top their personal records.

These are good quality pants. I did return them, but only because I did n't realize they were flared at the bottom and that's not what I was personally looking for. Other than that I really liked them. I also usually wear large in nike shorts, but I have found multiple Nike pants fit me better in medium. I 'm not sure what's going on with Nikes sizing recently.

The quality is amazing! Take it easy with these they are delicate in my opinion. Be sure to unzip the zippers at the bottom of the pants to smoothly get your feet through them. I would n't force my foot through the pants while the ankle zipper is zipped. Again, they are delicate. Once you have them on, you are good to go. Also, these pants could easily be snagged on something and possibly rip. For the price, you would want to take it easy. Moreover, I love the tailoring, material, zippers at the ankle, rubber around the waist, and zippers on the side pockets. I 'm buying my second pair today in gray. I love to travel in these.

6' 0 '' 155 lbs( ie thin frame) male and bought a medium which fits great in length( reaches the top of the ankles) and waist( though elastic in waistband feels a little lose and requires use of drawstring). bought for running in sub- freezing weather. normally run in tights when ≤ 40°, but decided to give this a try for when air temp or wind chill is below freezing to keep the legs a little warmer. done intervals, tempo, and easy runs and these feel great: not too loose nor too restrictive in the legs or crotch. perfect tightness on calf when zipped: tight enough to not ride up and loose enough to not constrict. not crazy about the cross- over- in- the- waist- band drawstring as it made tying the drawstring difficult. both side pockets are zippered; good enough for small, lightweight things( eg keys, ID card), but not a phone.( disclosure: i did n't use the pockets as i use a flipbelt for key, ID, and phone).

But what I love about them is that the fully separating zippers allow me to don and doff them without the need to tak my boots off and on. Even more importantly you make them in a short length( I am only 5' 1 '') and that is the ONLY way this concept works. You can not reasonably shorten rainpaints with a separating zipper-- you have to start out with the correct length and not many companies cater to this need.
