[ I have several pairs of both Teva and Chaco( love hiking sandles) and I wanted something extra secure and durable for some hiking trips I have coming up. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the sizing issues. Most reviews I read said to size up if you are a half size. This is usually what I do with my Tevas( Usually an 8. 5, so I buy a 9.) That being said, with this specific shoe do not size up! I had to make the velcro straps on the back heels tight to fit and they hung off the sides quite a bit. I returned them and got an 8 and they fit perfectly with plenty of extra room to adjust as needed. Also I will say you do need to break these in more than other Teva sandles I have worn because of all the straps. I got a few blisters but now that I have had them for a few weeks, they are great! super secure and comfortable:)

Was excited that this style of Keen water sandals was back- similar to the Newport but with the more open toe webbing. But unlike the previous style( I think called Ventura?), the Velcro adjustable strap on this is a fail. The heel strap is very stiff due to the Velcro making these VERY uncomfortable to wear. I would kill for this with the regular heel strap like on the previous version or on the Newport. sigh
