I usually wear a hiking style boot which are functional for walking the dog, especially on trails but the Bogs look great and I was thrilled to find them. I usually wear size 5. 5 but as a bonus, the size 6 fit really well and securely by pairing a lighter sock with a medium thickness sock. I initially was drawn to the green color, but ended up purchasing them in black because they look really great on. The uppers are textured differently and looks classy. The zipper down the inside of the boot allows them to go on and off in a cinch. I am in my late 60 's and love them!

They had good traction. Some snow did get in over the top when I walked in snow deeper than the height of the boots, but when I put on some snow shoes with them and that kept me from sinking in too deep. My original pair of Bearpaws for wide calves( different make) is starting to wear out after 5 winters. I found a wide pair I liked, and bought it in the same size. No issues at all! These boots actually fit those of us with wide calves( and feet). I really appreciate that the ankle tapers in a bit, instead of being the same diameter as the leg shaft. The waterproofing and stain- resistance has worked so far. I like that they 're real fur and leather, which is much better for the environment than faux. The wool inside is so cozy and keeps my feet warm without overheating. It 's going to be very cold where I live over the next few days- high temps in the teens- so I guess the real test is coming. I ’ ve worn these almost every day since getting them. They definitely stretch out a bit so I do wish I had gotten a 7 instead of an 8 but they are still super comfortable.( For reference I wear an 8 in Vans, 7. 5 in Nike Blazers). Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I wanted to try the 6 ” nylon ankle ice boots because I love the 6 ” deck boots I wear almost daily. They are very comfortable once on, have great support, good traction and are very warm! The only complaint I have, is that the top opening is not as wide as the regular deck boots, which makes them harder to just slip on and go. I had noticed that in the few reviews I had read, but wanted to try them anyway. A long handled shoehorn is needed, for me at least. Perhaps the designers thought a narrower opening would make them warmer, but it doesn ’ t allow for thicker socks. I kept them but probably won ’ t buy another pair in the future unless the opening is redesigned.

I love these boots! I ordered them to wear on vacation in Europe when in the woods and a couple of caves/ mines. I ended up wearing them pretty much everywhere! Super comfortable! I wore them for about an hour in my house before packing them to make sure they were going to be comfortable. To my surprise, they were comfortable right out of the box. Ordered them in the camel color- thinking of getting them in black also!

I bought this boot a month ago hoping it would be super comfortable like a tennis shoe but built for winter..... this boot is a HUGE winner!!! SO COMFORTABLE and CUTE!! MY 23 year old daughter and her friend fell in love and both want a pair. I can run errands for hours in the snow and my feet feel amazing. They are beyond cute with a pair of leggings as well. I specifically bought these as I needed some gardening boots that would keep my feet warm as well as dry. At first look, I could n't see where the insulation was located, but after being out in the yard in the winter, I 've been amazed at how warm my feet have felt. Also, I have fairly wide feet so in getting my usual shoe size, I was worried I would n't be able to use my thicker socks, but there is just enough room for that if it 's really cold out.

I 've bought Bogs for many years. These are great boots that keep my feet warm and dry through Buffalo winters. I do add insoles to the boots to make them more comfortable and supportive. I have a wide foot and they fit well.

Cute and really warm. These are super cute and are holding up really well. Bought them for a trip to NYC it was feels like single digits all week and my feet were never cold. The dont show any wear thus far. They are really hard to get tied tightly. This causes a bit of heel slip when walking long distances.

I 'm in love with these boots, and I receive compliments on them everywhere I go( light tan color)! However, I have a size 5 shoe, and these start at 5. 5( really wish more shoe manufacturers made shoes starting at a 5!), so they are a little big, even with socks. Even though they are a little big, they are warm, easy to slip on when running out the door, and look great with leggings and jeans. Highly recommend them!
