My Father- in- law and 2 brothers- in- law also have them. Have almost all of the accessories. My only issue is that it seems to get heavier every year?! LOL It IS the only thing we cook on, period! It was easy to assemble, Easy to clean, and I was able to cook two breakfasts and a dinner with ease for a troop of hungry Girlscouts this past weekend. Great Stove. I own three total, but this one is our elk camp stove. We use it 3 weeks per year and it's buried in a stash on our property the rest of the year. It's been up there for 18 years and fires up every time we pull it out. We also have the two burner and three burner griddle that have lasted since our very first three burner stove over 20 years ago.

Our family has several stoves ranging in size for backpacking and kayaking to car camping to portable cooking for large crowds. This single burner is great by itself or in combo with a two burner or another single burner for weekend camping. You save the room on your picnic table and the power of this stove boils water in a jiffy for coffee and cooks up breakfast for six in a jiffy using the single burner griddle( sold separately) on medium low heat. We very rarely use our table top stoves anymore- the quality at 30k BTU output more than makes up for the added bulk if you have room. Get yourself a two burner with griddle and bbq box and save this one for pans and coffee making on an open flame so you do n't have to swap out accessories. You 'll be able to cook for the entire camp! We have a dedicated 5lb tank for this and it will last a week with regular cooking. I do n't give out five stars easily- this unit earns every single one.

I replaced my 2- burner CampChef Weekender with the 3- burner Pro 90X and purchased this bag because I want to protect the new stove from the get- go. At first, I though that the bag was too small, but after getting the stove into the bag, it seems to fit very well. You do need to develop the knack of getting the stove in the bag, but after a couple times it goes very smoothly. There is a nice sleeve inside the top of the bag to hold the wind screen, which helps to keep it from causing or receiving damage. I have a two burner Camp Chef griddle( and bag) that fits this stove well. There is room for the grease drip tray in the top( handle section) of the bag. I wrap it in an old dish towel to keep if from receiving or causing damage. This seems to be a nice quality bag and fits the stove well.

We bought this stove to heat our tent when elk hunting in the mountains. This past season we were in the mountains of Montana and had some nights in the 20s and a few days with highs in the 30s. This Alpine stove kept our 13ft X 20ft wall tent cozy warm. We normally are camped for a 2 week stretch and installed an in- line spark arrestor as shown in the photos, for ease of cleaning. We also protected the floor under the stove with a welding blanket. The racks on the side of the stove were very handy for quick drying of socks and gloves. Another thing I really like is that everything fits inside the stove when packing. That sure saves valuable space. I highly recommend the Camp Chef Alpine!

Bought this a couple months ago from an online vendor due to CC being out of stock. Assembly was straight forward and all the components pack back up into the stove for storage. Large enough to put full 16 '' long split log pieces into and when I had it 1/2 full, it blew me out of the tent. I had to damper it down. I believe I made the right purchase. The chimney pipes are tapered to fit inside each other, the smallest end at the stove is 5- 1/4 '', largest end is 6- 1/4 '' Outer diameter. There's plenty of pipe to extend above the tent. The spark arrestor screen gets clogged up a little, but if you stay on top of it you 're fine. I would recommend this stove hands down!

Dont be fooled by its size, this grill is built to last decades and serves as a faithful companion is your cooking arsenal. Being cast iron this grill retains and radiates heat incredibly well and allows for two grate settings. You can use the legs or if you need a hotter cook just flip the grate over and by lowering it you put your food that much closer to the coals. I used lump charcoal for my first cook and this grill did an excellent job and is easily going to be the perfect side kick to my sous vide cooks that need a sear. The grate is an improvement to the Lodge Sportsman in many ways. First it has no logo which in my opinion allows for more searing space. Second the grates are ribbed which easily help hold foods that are prone to rolling around loke hot dogs in place. The ribbed grates also provide excellent sear marks, which lets be honest, you don ’ t get full on fancy, but a visually appealing meal is always fun. You can use this grill for hot dogs and hamburgers or use it as a hibachi grill and everyone can cook their own meat on it.
