I have a Native Watercraft Slayer 13 Propel and like to troll for stripers and blues. There were no rod hoders set up for trolling but the kayak has a ton of gear track and i had a Scotty rod holder so I bought the Scotty Gear- Head Track Adapter. I set it up within reach but out of the way of pedaling. Now I can troll hands free. Great product.

[ I ’ m glad I chose to purchase a second rear mount and install two rod holders at the same time because it will allow for fishing at two different depths while trolling on one down rigger. This bracket is sturdy and lightweight, thanks to its aluminum construction. However, if you 're purchasing it to use with one of Flagpole- To- Go's collapsible aluminum poles, be aware that the thumbscrew can dent the thin- walled aluminum tubing of the pole. This will prevent you from fully collapsing the pole for storage.

The pin hole did not line up with my Reese hitch. It would not seat far enough due to design. Luckily my FIL is a machinist and could modify the sleeve, so I am able to make it work. He also modified the part that holds the pole, so that the flag pole can ’ t slide all the way out the open bottom. And then he painted the whole thing black. Good quality metal, seems sturdy. I use it to proudly display a 3x5 American Flag on the back of my Jeep with a 1 ” metal flag pole.
