I use 3in and 4in Big Hammers as my go to swimbait on 1/4th and 3/8th ounce swimbait heads. They have a great tail thump/ body wobble that it just right, not too little and not too much. The tail swims on the fall and does it's thing on the slowest of retrieves. I really like the keeled body because it helps it get down to the bottom quick, rather than round body swimbaits that might suspend in comparable situations with a ton of line out or in moving current. They are reasonably durable and they have a great color selection. They are literally the only swimbait I use on a swimbait jighead!

I can cast this lure into the wind. Was casting the 1 1/4 oz size straight into 30mph winds with 50 mph gusts about 40 yards out. Almost caught my 2nd 5lber. 4. 74 lbs 20. 5 '' bass. Caught a 2. 5 lber also the day before. I ordered a couple more since having so much success with it.
