The rain color is light gray lavender and the edge is elasticized around your ankle like a sock. Some people might not like that because you ca n't slip them on, but I do. I am not a runner so I wan na call that out quick, but I ’ m trying to get better at it and these shoes are def helping me. The shoe runs sightly big, but once I but a thick sock on with them they fit fine. I love how the shoe doesn ’ t have shoestrings that you tie up, instead a velcro strap that keeps your foot tight and snugged in the shoe. You just put your foot in and go. I ’ m a sprinter, it felt so good running in them and not once did the strap loosen. Also, the sole of the shoe is very thick and gives you a little height. Although the sole of the shoe is thick the shoe is very light. Even if your not a runner I would recommend these shoes as a every day shoe because of the comfort.

I 've had the last several Glycerin models except the 21. And thought they were the most comfortable shoes ever. These blow them out of the water. I 'm not a runner. I wear these for health issues, fairly severe foot neuropathy from a spinal injury. When i discovered the Glycerin series it gave me enough relief that i could manage to make it thru a whole store again. And even start getting on a treadmill a little bit. Then along comes this new slip on model, they are just what the doctor should 've ordered. I doubled my usual distance on the treadmill and then went and did several stores. I ca n't thank Brooks enough for the new lease on life these shoes will give me! Great work! I am a traditional 2- 4E width and it makes finding quality running shoes difficult. The better performing shoes seem to never come in wide widths. This is why I was shocked when I tried on the Boston 12. They were a little tight, but by far the widest non- wide size shoe I put on my feet. I ’ m 6 ’ 5 ” and 240, so most shoes don ’ t agree with me. They usually bottom out, but I took these on a 9 mile recovery run and my feet didn ’ t hurt at all. These shoes provide maximum cushioning while also providing stability making them the most comfortable shoe for running and the gym. I was able to do Bulgarian split squats wearing them because of the stability. Running and walking in these shoes is like walking on pillows! I got these primarily for casual( work) wear because I needed the 10mm offset for a nagging Achilles. They are perfect for that! Soft enough for all- day wear and quiet with great grip. The upper fits like a slipper. The “ SE ” colors are beautiful and will match every color of scrubs I ever wear. I went with my usual Nike running shoe size and am glad I did because the toe box isn ’ t very wide. For running, I would say these are best suited for very easy days or for heel striking runners. I found them to be very smooth and comfortable but not super exciting or responsive at faster paces. I strike towards the front more than the heel, and didn ’ t make much use of the lovely heel cush unless descending. I did run 10 miles out of the box though, which a testament to just how comfortable and easy this shoe is.

Hey if you are looking for comfort and performance out of your shoe. This shoe is one of the best cushion shoes next to the Nike signal d/ms/x. Especially on the treadmill it gave me extra cushion and spring with every step. I run about 3 miles a day on treadmill so it was a wonderful experience even out the box with no break in.

Love the arch support on these and the price point. Although they ’ re not the best looking shoe to wear, this shoe is definitely made to put in work. Minor slippage on my right foot as it ’s slightly smaller than my left foot. Toe cap is not your average Nike narrow one. It is a little wider( assuming it ’s for when your toes expand while running). They fit differently, but if I were to go. 5 smaller my big toe would definitely hit. I went true to size and I always fit into their narrow shoes( Nike).

I have been a fan of the Nova Blast line from Asics for a while. The Nova Blast 5 is, in my opinion, one of, if not the best, versions of the Nova Blast collection. They fit true to size and are running shoes more than walking shoes. These can be used for long runs, pace work, etc. A great buy and will be buying the shoes again.

I should have upgraded my son's running shoes before I did, but I 'm still learning the ways of having a young xc& distance track runner. He was complaining of increasing foot pain( I likely should have looked into better cushioning initially& how often I should replace because he does n't track his miles that closely, but again, inexperienced mom). I tried doing some research& these seem to offer great cushioning while still remaining lightweight, so it would n't sacrifice time. These are/were a great one- stop shoe for me( daily trainer that he will plan to use for track when he ca n't wear spikes). He noted his foot pain is resolved& likes the `` push '' of the cushion. Do I wish they were cheaper since he likely wo n't wear them for more than 4 months due to growth spurt(s)- ABSOLUTELY, but if he is n't in pain, then I 'm happy. We 'll see if something changes over time as they are still pretty new.

The most comfortable running shoe I ’ ve ever had. I do not feel it heaved at all, it ’s balanced, stable and really comfortable for short or long runs. Feels supportive, responsive and cushioning, great on the feet and knees. While it may not be the go- to shoe for races given the fact that it is heavier than racing runs( although it doesn ’ t feel heave, racing shoes do feel lighter for speed or marathons), it ’s the best shoe for casual, speed, distance or recovery runs
