I have been wearing one of these helmets for about a year. It is comfortable, well vented and light. After crashing at a bike park and landing face first on a rock I can also confidently say that it offers great protection also. I broke the helmet, but walked away with only a small cut on my face. I also bought the same helmet as a replacement. If you 're considering buying a mainline, get one.

I had a big crash on the White Rim trail that broke my collarbone and dented my helmet, left me with a knot above my left eye as well. My helmet was on tight and kept me from what could have been a terrible head injury. I will replace with same helmet when I can ride again. The ability to lock this helmet tight on my head was key. Form and fit are VG. Moisture does collect in the upper dome, however. There are exhaust vents at the rear. Suggest a vent on top similar to motorcycle helmets that could be left closed or opened to allow mroe venting.
