[ My wife and I wanted some sort of shelter for car camping that we could cook under. Most tarps are larger than what we need, but this is perfect. Setup is a breeze using the three poles. There are various options for attaching the front to your vehicle. Two stakes allow for attaching the rear. We set it up with our Rav4 hatch open and have no problems opening/closing the hatch with the shelter in place. There's lots of space underneath for cooking and hanging out. One could easily fit four camp chairs under this if needed. We 've only used it twice, but experienced torrential downpours on both occasions and remained perfectly dry sitting underneath it and chilling out. One of the best shelter investments I 've made in the last 45 years.

[ I ’ m beyond pleased with this awning! I ’ ve been in my Promaster van for a few years and always wanted extra shade but didn ’ t want to have a permanent awning installed. Of course it ’s a little extra to carry around but it ’s car camp intended. I ’ ve started recently using mine as a tent for me and my 4 year old. With no way to stake it down so I did have to add some weights inside to keep it secure. There is a lot of floor space for belongs. The tent could be a bit taller as I hit my head on the top and I 'm only 5' 1. Could be a bit wider as well for those that like a more diagonal lay. But all in all I 'm very happy with it. Even my cat likes that he can officially be outside.

Our young family loves a day at the beach and this sun shelter is the ultimate homebase! The open floor allows the kids to play in the sand while still in the shade and then we can zip it up to keep our valuables somewhat safe when it's time to go play in the water. I bought this a couple of years ago and have used it a dozen times or more. It honestly weighs 2 pounds. I use it solo, but there is room for two big and tall guys and gear. No floor or insect net of course, but if it is weight you are concerned about this is a good choice. I have not used it in high wind yet, but if you look at the stitching and reinforcements on the many guy lines it appears very strong and well made and designed. I wish it had a mesh pocket inside to put my glasses, head lamp and pocket book in at night: suppose I could easily make one. I use a 1 mill painters plastic tarp for a floor and put a rock on each corner to hold it down. You need trekking poles or sticks, like any A- frame tent, but I have also used available trees so I did n't even need poles. The stakes they give you are light, and while someone complained low quality, I thought they worked just fine. Over all, thumbs up. Price is right, quality of workmanship good, and it easy to spot in the woods.

[ Was looking for a car camping tent, larger and more comfortable than the backpacking tent I 've had for ages. The DogHouse would sleep 2 very comfortably, you could sleep 4 if you do n't mind being a sardine. Steep sided walls gives the tent a very spacious feel. I could erect and take down the tent solo, but did struggle a bit the first time I pitched the tent to insert the tent pole into the final grommet. Also took me a while to figure out how to get the horizontal top pole out of the snap when breaking the tent down. Overall, the tent erected pretty quickly and easily in subsequent uses after the fabric stretched out a bit. Good ventilation, beefy stakes, seems to be a strong, stable tent, certainly fine for summer camping, probably 3 season. Worst conditions I 've been in are moderate wind and rain overnight, and the tent shed water no problem. I 'm assuming the fabric has a DWR coating, and it's unclear how long the waterproofing would last. I did not buy the ridiculously expensive footprint, just used a tarp close to the correct size and that worked fine. Tent material did catch in the zipper when zipping open or close the door. I wonder if anyone has solved this though.

[ I received this product from influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. Unfortunately the pics I had of this on the ice, are forever lost at the bottom of the lake lol So my unboxing photos will have to do. First thing I have to say, is that this thing is insane. Pictures really do not do this thing justice. I did n't realize how much space there would be inside of this thing. While we usually only had 3 guys fishing out of it at once, there is easily more than enough room for more. There were times we had this thing stacked with people at times during the day and night, just hanging around talking. We had enough room for all of our equipment, sunflower heater, and pretty much a full service grilling station set up to curb those mid- day munchies. Even the tall guys had no problem in this thing. Lots of head room. Living in Minnesota, there are so many variations in environment that come into play that this thing had absolutely no problem with. Even on the big lake superior, with the wind absolutely howling, this ice house handled it like a champ. Strong ice anchors kept it in place with hardly a rattle. Super thick, durable construction, held heat extremely well, and used very little propane on the sunflower after the initial warm up. Zippers are top notch as well. Usually my biggest peeve, but the zippers were free flowing, felt strong, and easy to grab even with big gloves on. Setting up was a breeze as well. Took me longer to cut and clean 3 holes than it did to pop this thing up. Break down was just as easy, which is exactly what you want at the end of day. This ice house is an absolute game changer. I literally can can not think of one con about this at all. If your sick if being cramped in a small hut, or even wish you could have more company join, this is the ticket. I only wish this winter was a little more `` wintery '' Did n't get quite as much time on the ice as previous years.

Integrated lighting is easy to set up and connect. This thing is FANTASTIC!!! Incredibly easy to set up and well built. Had the Storm Break 3 years so far, and maybe a couple/few dozen uses. At half the price of the similarly featured tents from the pro competition, it's an impressive tent IMO. It's a couple pounds heavier, but that has very little effect in my application( mostly motorcycle camping). I 've had zero problems with poles, zippers, stitching, fabric, or other parts/details. I 'm relatively careful and use common sense in setup and breakdown of the tent. I use a decent ground cloth to protect the floor and avoid exposure to sharp sticks and rock etc. Also avoid over tensioning the loops and holding points when staking and setting up guylines. I 'm careful with zippers and do n't force them or zip/unzip carelessly or super fast. In my limited experience, the zippers have been excellent. The vestibule flap zippers can be a bit fussy, and I simply use a finger to `` lead '' the zipper- pull path; this prevents the overlap fabric from getting caught in the pull. I 've used it in light rain and moderately windy conditions, but not in extreme weather. It has performed and held up just fine. Having read some of the negative reviews, I do n't understand how poles can just `` break '' or bend into some strange wavy deformed condition that some have claimed- that's odd IMO, and makes me wonder if those individuals are n't revealing the entire story/truth or maybe were careless? Setup is quick and pretty simple, and is doable in the dark if you 're familiar with the process and the tent. I really like the overall design and features: roomy, vestibules, inside mesh pockets in all 4 corners, interior hanger loops, the fly- great tent in my experience!

I 've had my dog in it with my( 110lbs). and spent probably 50 nights in it since i bought it a couple of years ago. The Habitude 6 tent is a fantastic piece of equipment. We initially bought the tent to fit our family of four and then quickly found out. It was going to be a family of 5 plus a dog. The tent has ample room for all people. Set up was quite easy with two people. The first night we used the tent, we had a classic Colorado thunderstorm roll through and the tent kept us dry the entire night despite the torrential rains. The rain fly was a great quality but may be a tad difficult to put on for one person just because of height. The ONLY gripe I have is how it is next to impossible to get the tent back in the bag, but all tents have this issue. This is a Great product. I had no issues in setting this up. There is tension in the bars that hold up the tent but by not over forcing the extension of these bars it went up easy. I saw posts where others bent the bar but i suspect they were overly aggressive during set up By not rushing into it my tent was up quickly. As for 6 person, if small kids the ok but i am 71 and an air bed is a must. So plenty of room for myself and wife.

[ Bought for trips with two people and a dog. It was easy to set up and overall light weight. Only thing is the stakes are pretty heavy but easily swapped with lighter ones so no big deal! The mesh has such high visibility that my dog actually tried to jump through it. The tent didn ’ t budge and she sort of flopped backwards. No damage to the tent so it ’s durable too!

[ We bought this to go car camping with our three- year- old. I have some nitpicks( see below) but all in all I 'm quite happy with it. PROS:- Very easy to set up.- Main tent body is mostly mesh; nice for ventilation and stargazing. Rain fly provides full coverage, for a little more warmth and privacy.- Included footprint is a nice addition. CONS:- Quite heavy, but this is to be expected at the price.- The bag has no handle, and it can be a little tricky to get all the pieces stuffed back in.- The included stakes are a little flimsy. I bought this tent long before the pandemic and have taken it car camping 2- 3 times a year since. Everyone loves how these set up so fast, including me, but putting it away is a bit more work, just FYI. I have found that sort of rolling it up and leaning on it with your body weight at the end works. I do n't think I 'll ever go back to the traditional pole tent set up. Favorite part of this tent is the mesh ceiling. If the forecast is dry, you can leave the rainfly off and look at the stars. After about a dozen times camping, during a windstorm, one of the pole connections broke and we 've had to hobble together a solution, but we 've taken it camping still at least 4- 5 more times since. P. S. It's pretty waterproof, but you really need to stake it well for the rain to go where you want it to. Also, because of the slanted walls, you do n't want your air mattress touching the sides during the rain either.

[ I bought this tent last year, but was only able to use it for the first time a few weeks ago. I was excited to give it a try and was not disappointed. Some high level thoughts: 1. I wanted a tent with a large vestibule AND that I could stand up in. I live in the PNW and we get a lot of rainy days. The amount of space was perfect for my setup. 2. The initial build is a but confusing at first, but once you figure it out is a breeze to setup. The tent uses a snap system that I have n't encountered before but that I find clever. 3. It took me more than a few minutes and few tries to figure out which is the front door when adding the tarp. BA likely could have added some big arrows or something here. 4. Yes, this is a two person tent, but I use a larger sleeping pad, so really only have space for one( ok with me since I solo mostly). 5. Definitely a car camping tent. But it is compact enough when stored to not take up too much room. 6. My only real complaint is the vestibule has about a 6 '' gap around the bottom edges. So you do n't get a real feeling of 100% privacy. I also use the separate footprint and I kept kicking dirt into the vestibule area that required me to constantly sweep out. On the other hand, did n't have any problem with bugs. 7. Love the amount of doors, including the front and side door. Bottom line: This will be my go- to tent for solo car camping, especially on wet/rainy weekends.

These has thoroughly impressed me so far, we ’ ve used this tent for several years on several annual camping trips now. Our tent survived the winds of a distant tornado that passed through our town. The wind flapped so fast it melted the fabric sleeves covering the joints and exposed some melted foam. The rain fly held on with extremely minor wear, otherwise perfect condition. Little front&# x27; porch&# x27; area is convenient, as are the pockets on the front outside wall. Stayed dry inside after rain showers- put a tarp on the ground and the tent on the tarp. When we packed up we were surprised with some water between tarp and tent- tent floor inside never got wet. The original bag expands and the tent, when folded up neatly, fit back in to the bag and the bag zipped up. A con- I wish the screen windows were bigger so more air could flow into tent. Not a bad tent size- wise, but it came with NO directions but for 3 very small steps( I mean, SMALL) on the outside of the tent zip bag. Overhead fly takes a while to figure out; you need to attach one of the bottom clips, then another, then drag the fly over the top and continue snapping the clipper tabs as you go until all 4 are in place at the 4 corners. I will be contacting the company this week to ask for directions on how to take it down easier, as the attached poles are difficult to fold up. This is in no way a one- minute set- up.

This product is light, relatively compact, quite robust, and does its job well. If you are looking for an ultralight replacement for a tent this is a good start, I would probably pack a rain fly or tarp just incase. Just make sure you are looking for a bug net, because this product obviously does n't retain heat, stop rain, or allow for another friend inside( unless y'all are lovin all night). Waterproof or not, you 're going to use a tarp if you camp in a bivy- have you ever tried to bed down in the rain without a tarp and realized that all your kit gets soaked and now you have a cold and wet night ahead of you? This is why tarps are essential when bivy camping. That said, this solves the condensation problem that you 'll experience with all bivy bags. This bivy is super light, easy to use, roomy enough for my rectangular mattress and packs down to nothing. If you 're one step away from no bivy at all, but still want protection from bugs, this is the product for you. Disclaimer: if you 're using this in bug season you 'll probably end up realizing that you should have brought a tent. I do n't personally find the tent to be very fragile, like others suggest, but it's also not as robust as other tents I own. Take care of it& it 'll take care of you. I own other Big Agnes gear& I 'm never let down. They also have a great repair team( had to send my Big House 4 tent in for repairs after the dogs busted out one night chasing chupacabras)

[ I have had my eye on the tent for a few years now. While it is a bit more expensive than what I have spent on tents in the past, I can honestly say that I am very happy that I decided to go ahead and get it. The lower weight and smaller pack size of the Copper Spur UL1 made a big difference in my base weight and pack volume requirements. I am trying to get down to a smaller pack size for trips more than 3 days and the tent size was one of biggest issues. I know this tent is marketed as `` HV ''( high volume), but I was honestly surprised how much roomer it feels compared to my previous 1P tent. I am 6 '' 3 '' and there is plenty of head room for me to sit up without worrying about touching the top with my head. I really like the quality of the stakes that come with the tent. This is one of the first tents that I did not immediately replace the default stakes with something better. I have n't had a chance to really, truly use the `` porch '' that you can create with your trekking poles, but I can see how that will be very useful for cooking in a light rain. It did rain slightly on the second night of my first trip out with the new tent and I had no issues, as you would expect in that scenario. I did break one segment on the pole the very first time I used the tent. It was 100% user error. I called and emailed Big Agnes, provided the required info, and they gave me the option to send it in for repair( no charge for the repair service) or to just have the part shipped to me, along with a video that explains how to perform the repair, which was quite easy. I did have to pay shipping, but that was not much.

I am happy to report after two trips with a two year old lab with uncut nails, this tent has held up phenomenally with out any tears or punctures. It is incredibly lightweight and packs well. So easy to put up! Literally took a minute. Also, really big, but lots of activity space for our family inside. Poles seem really sturdy. Could totally have a tom Haverford set up, if that was your thing. Honestly could have gotten a smaller tent, but I guess I just got greedy. Our 3 year old and dogs loved hanging out in it. [ Very nice tent and very easy to set up even with one person. Purchased sometime ago a 4 person Core tent and have been very satisfied with it as well. Have not used the new 10' x 9' tent as of yet due to current winter season. Can not really see difference in material between two tents. Advertisement states a heavier tent material for the 10'x9' model, I hope so. Again the set up is extremely easy and fast even for one person. Wanted to make sure because I often take with me on a solo fishing trip in early March and just wanted to make sure there would be no hassle in setting the tent up. Lots of ventilation ports at the base in a huge area under the rain fly for ventilation including the screens in door and sides which are ideal for the 90+ degree temp we have during the summer months. Great height for this straight wall tent more than 6 feet and center. Will add further comments after first couple of use of the new tent which I am looking forward to as the spring come around. I recommend this tent. The Core company I believes will stand by their products and not disappear overnight as so many in this line of products. Their reputation appears to be very solid.

You 'll want to make sure you have stakes or something to weigh it down with once you are set up. There's a back window that can be opened for more ventilation throughout the tent. Sand easily falls right off of the slinky nylon- like material. There was a bit of a learning curve to get it closed, but once you watch their YouTube video it really helps you get it down. This tent survived some pretty insane 40- 50 MPH winds for a whole night— tent poles totally held up considering how violent the winds were! I ’ d say it is the perfect size for two people with extra room for things you ’ d like to store in the tent.

This has been one of our best Marmot purchases, hands down. We use it quite often in the Colorado woods. It's easy to set up/ take down. The rain protection still holds up to this day. [ I am so excited to use the Manta Pop Up beach tent for the rest of this year! It's incredibly lightweight and literally pops open as soon as you take the strap off of it. You 'll want to make sure you have stakes or something to weigh it down with once you are set up. There's a back window that can be opened for more ventilation throughout the tent. Sand easily falls right off of the slinky nylon- like material. There was a bit of a learning curve to get it closed, but once you watch their YouTube video it really helps you get it down. Comes with storage bag and takes up barely any space in your trunk. Myself, my husband and my two kids( 7, 10) were all able to comfortably fit inside the tent together.

I see alot of bad reviews for this tent, but I 've honestly never had any problems with it. First issue I hear alot about is that it leaks. I 've never had any leaks with this tent. I remember I ended sleeping in probably an inch of water one night, and not a single drop made it into the tent! Another issue that I heard of was that the poles were attached together. I can see why someone would find it annoying l, but I like it like that. I like the way they 're attached because I find it easier to set it up by myself. Overall, a pretty solid Tent that I would recommend!

[ A little over two years ago we bought this tent for car camping. When it first arrived we were impressed by how light it was. We set it up which was easy for one person and noticed how spacious this tent is! Personally I am coming from the two person dome tent land but we decided we wanted to be able to stand up to change and have a queen raised air mattress. There is so much room in this tent it ’s amazing. The fly goes to the ground so in a few severe thunderstorm we stayed dry. Wind 30 mph gusts might blow it down the back side in a headwind but if you anchor the guy lines it will withstand it. The walls are almost completely screens which could be a weakness in the design. We tent to camp into late September in northern Maine in New Hampshire and some nights get into the 30 ’s but we have heavy sleeping bags for those nights. The vestibule is so large we have played cards by sitting in two chairs and having a small table set up. Overall we are very happy with the quality and design of this tent!

Got a good deal on what looked like a returned item. Zipper quality is impressive and set up is fast and easy. Only negative is without the rain canopy it ’s wide open screening. That only was an issue when it was hot outside and needed privacy.

[ Nice tent at first blush. Easy to put up. Plenty of space. Brand has a long history of super durable outdoor gear. The stow bag is awesome and leaves room for a footprint if you use one. And pretty darn affordable. There ’s an odd detail on the rain fly at the front vestibule. The pole sleeve creates a kind of gutter that will push water back toward the tent and seam in the fly. I have yet to test the tent in a real howler so I can ’ t say if the issue is of serious concern. Also I think the older model had clear plastic on the fly windows. This model has kind of a cheesy flap instead which is disappointing. Overall though me and the fam love the tent and look forward to many great adventures in it for years to come.
