I bought these for my runs in the dark to have a little extra visibility. They are not super thick for warmth but are good enough for most Seattle conditions. The size Medium does feel a little big( I normally wear size 6) and I have to pull the drawstrings tight to keep them secure.

FIT: I 'm 5' 6 and 130 lbs and usually wear a size 4; these leggings in size M fit me just perfect. FABRIC: I love the fabric – fairly thick and smooth, not lined, and have a good stretch. When working out at the gym, they move with you when exercising. VISIBILITY: I usually run late afternoon and it is getting dark early, especially in winter, it is extremely important for me to have reflective and visible workout gear. These tights have bright yellow at the leg bottoms and a number of reflectors that are easy to see in low light. I have a peace of mind when running after dark. COMFORT: These tights are very comfortable and provide the right amount of compression. My absolute favorite features are drop- in pockets on both sides and stay- put waistband. It is amazing that the waistband always stays firmly put no matter how low you go, either you squat, jump or flow from pose to pose. These are the most comfortable leggings I 've ever owned. They do come with an interior draw string to tighten up the waist if need be. There a handy zipper pocket in the back with is my favorite feature! It ’s perfect for a couple of small essentials. [ I usually do not wear shorts like this. I like my denim shorts for all occasions. However I have been trying to walk and exercise more often and the denim is uncomfortable. I decided that this was a good time to step out of my comfort zone and try something new and different. These Nike shorts exceeded my expectations. The fit is perfect and they are so comfortable. My family remarked that they looked great on me. They were so comfortable that I now wear them for other occasions and not just exercise. The design is attractive and the shorts are high quality material. I love that there is a pocket on both sides. I can keep my phone in one pocket and my keys in the other one. There is also a zip pocket on the back waistband. The zipper is not noticeable. Once you put these on you will not want to take them off. They will look great and be very comfortable. [ I ’ m usually picky when it comes to biker shorts because they ’ re pretty much all I wear during the spring/summer months. I love these ones specifically because they ’ re form fitting and flattering( they hide the mom pouch!) and they ’ re very comfortable. They ’ re size accurate and come down to a nice length for biker shorts, they ’ re not too short and seem appropriate for most situations especially during the summer since there ’s no pattern/giant logo so you could easily dress them up with a longer dressier shirt or pair with any shirt to go work out. I ’ m very excited to have these shorts!

[ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

Went hiking in the Lake District and discovered my abisko tights were too large. Fortunately, I found a Fjallraven vendor and found these tights, which turned out perfect as I need a bit more insulation. I love the feel of these. They kept me warm on some pretty brutal days. First let me say that I 'm not a person who wears tights- never have been- but these have changed my mind. I was on the fence about ordering for the longest time and I 'm so glad I finally did. They are thick enough that they feel more like pants to me and oh, so comfortable. The waistband is high, but not too high and the overall fit is just perfect. The leg pockets are deep and secure and the reflective piping at the ankles is a really nice touch.
