I was looking for a replacement for a putting mat I had for a couple years. My old one had a battery operated ball return that stopped working. No batteries needed for this mat and the ball return works great, all by gravity. My new putting mat from Perfect Practice has already helped me improve my putting. Two parallel solid lines help me keep the putter square to the target and there is a nice dashed line to follow straight into the hole. I especially like using the solid parallel lines on my follow through. It seems that my putting stroke was breaking down after I hit the putt by not staying on line. The lines help a lot. Also, the hole itself is slightly smaller than a regulation cup size, to help improve aim. The edges of the mat have a good looking raised edge that keeps the ball from rolling off the mat. This version was the smallest and it easily rolls up and fits into a nice bag, when not being used. I have n't put mine away since I bought it, but it is a nice feature. The larger models with nice wood features look great, but are too large for the space I have.

Recently upgraded my golf ball from TM Tour Response to the new TP5x. Man, what a difference. I am a mid- handicapper( 10. 5) and felt I needed to upgrade a few things and see if I could lower my scores to eventually break 80. Purchased the new balls, went to my local course, had a great warm up, and headed over to the first tee. On my very first day playing with this ball and on the very first hole, a par 4 at 282 yards, playing from the white tees, I flushed my driver and drove the green! Wow! Counter balance helps keep the puter on line. I would usually pull short putts and this has solved that problem. The long grip with the hands seperated keeps the face square and online through the stroke. It took a minute to work the distance but now long putts put me in the Gim me range.

I bought this putter last week and played my first nine holes with it yesterday. I one putted five of nine greens. It's so much easier to get up and down when you can make the putt when you chip within 10 feet. The putter is super easy to line up. Ball contact feels great and distance control was exceptional. The putter is super solid on those four foot putts you have to have to keep a good round going. Very happy with my purchase.

I putt on a slight arc and this putter fits my stroke perfectly. From 10 feet and in, I feel like I can make everything because it is so easy to line up. The ball always comes off with top spin and the insert feels so soft but firm enough to give good feedback.

There are 2 major benefits to me from the puttin target: 1. When the practice green at the golf course already has 3 golfers putting to every hole, I just throw this down and have my own private pre- game practice area! 2. When practicing putting to a real hole, it ’s difficult to assess the exact pace of the putts that “ go in ”( did the ball barely trickle to the hole or would it have gone 6 feet by?). It's a well made tool that a one stop shop. I have the black one and it is beautiful upon opening. I will say that the color fades on the forks rather quickly and your fingerprints and scratch marks show well in the light. Maybe go with the silver if you care about that.
