This isnt an inexpensive kayak but you get more than what you pay for in a stabile one person fishing craft that is packed with good features. Are the flaws? Sure there are some things they might want to consider such as the raised track handles put quit a bit on leverage on the hull but having those tracks there opens up all kinds of possibilities. This was my first yak and I ca n't imagine I could have bought any better this boat is as much fun as it is functional. One suggestion for future models is a sucken battery well to lower the center of gravity a bit and to help keep the battery in place.

Largest fish it's had on was only about 3 pounds so far, so we 'll have to see if it can hold up to a monster. I own one for the last 3 years. This is my preferred paddle to any trip, to cover distance on flat water, or for white water. It is light, the angles can be adjusted to break wind resistance, it provide good grip and the shaft is slightly ovalled. It is durable and easy to transfer in a car as it is built out of 2 pieces. It has a hook catch and water drip caps that are very useful. A small downside is the the paddles blade reinforcement that Pelican designed with only one narrow stripe. BTW, the Pelican warranty deserves a good review, I had an issue and it was addressed in a quick and efficient way. In total, I am buying a second one to the partner I will paddle with in my tandem kayak.

I love VMC worm hooks. These things are strong and also very sharp. Out of all the ones I ’ ve used these seems to last the longest. Also they are good against rusting. Overall, I really enjoy these worn hooks paired up with some Roboworms!

What can I say other then this is another great worm hook from them. I ’ ve used many other brands but after a handful of uses even after drying them off, they end up starting to rust. These however seem to last longer and don ’ t start to corrode as quickly as the other brands.

I bought this for my canoe while I 'm fishing at the lake and it works great. I needed it for catching good size crappie and bass. It's got a nice classic look, the net is soft it's short and compact as I do n't have much room in the canoe. It is wide and deep enough for a good size bass, crappie and/or a good size trout.
