Very comfortable and fit great. I love a wrap around sunglasses that fits. This is snug but not tight. The arm tips are flexible so they don ’ t pinch, I have a big head. I think they would be just as comfortable on a smaller skull. The polarization looks quality when I held them up to a another pair of quality glasses. [ Regular holbrooks are a bit small for my large head but the XL's fit perfect, and the shallow water lens is great - really adds a lot of contrast and brightens up days with drab, flat lighting. [ I purchased these for a trip that I would need glacier glasses. I found an online article comparing choices and I chose to try these due to the removable sides, the weight of the glasses, their multi - use design( water& snow sports) and mid range price point. Note that the all black version does NOT come with the side shields. I discovered this after I first tried the black. But I ’ m actually much happier with the look of the smoke frames with mirror lenses. The smoke is not as stark a look. I ’ m a female with medium to large female head and these fit well and look good on me. They may be big for women with smaller heads. They are so light that I barely feel them. Which is important when I ’ ll be wearing for extended periods on the water. Even with a hat on, they felt comfortable on my ears. I ’ ve never spent so much money on sunglasses before, but I can definitely feel the quality. The trip I needed them for got canceled but I decided to keep them because I like them so much and they are so versatile.
