This tote is the perfect size as it has the square opening, is n't too big so you pack it too full and it's super heavy. [ Selected this thermal carrier because my husband bbq's a lot and wanted something to use for when whatever chosen meat he was currently cooking was finished and was in the resting period of the cook. So now when his tri tips are finished cooking he puts them in a Pyrex cooking dish, covers it in foil and places it in the thermal carrier. Works like a charm. The waterproof underside helped keep all our bottoms dry while sitting in the grass, and the blanket kept down while we were eating. The fabric was a bit hot for a summer day, but we still enjoyed in nonetheless. My kids even decided it was a mattress and napped on it outside after finishing the picnic. [ I got this on the beginning of the month of October and it came in handy we try them right away when we got this we made a bbq it was so easy to flip the meat and the rib with out burning ourself since the the tools and long and big so it ’s much easier I love the wood and love that it has like a string to put ur arm inside it
