[ By far the best pack I ’ ve purchased! We ’ ll designed, very comfortable to take long hikes with and durable as well. I was able to fit everything I needed plus more for my winter backpacking trips. It was a grate gift idea too!

5 Captn Obvious
[ I have purchased 2 of these packs, one for me and one for my son. We go camping monthly with our local BSA troop and use them to carry all our gear for each campout. They will also be used for various other camping trips as they are quite adaptable for various needs and capacities. Plenty of storage, plenty of thought was put into the design and the quality is amazing. Their warranty is pretty amazing as well.

I 've had this pack for 4+ years now. I take it on a couple backpacking trips a year on average and some day hikes where I 'm carrying more than normal. It's always fit everything I need. I 've carried a large tandem packraft and paddles with it( alpacka forager). I 've hiked 30 miles of the Kesugi Ridge Trail with it. The most notable use I think was for a caribou hunt I did a couple years ago on the Denali Highway. I packed out a cow caribou including all meat and 4 quarters bone in and the hide with my other knives and day pack type gear 5 miles down a mountain side and back to the parking lot via the trail. Roughly 100lbs. No buckles broke or came undone under tension, no rips, straps worked well to keep the load secure and close to my body. It only creaked and groaned a bit under that load, but otherwise performed well especially for not being a hunting pack. I would buy again!

5 Antrim
66 yr old short woman, and I love the ease of this pack and the great comfort of the carry. I like a bear vault, and no trouble packing it in this. Makes it easy to deal with winter layers and days of food. All my gear is ultralight except this pack, and I do n't mind the weight when it comes with comfort and stability.

5 Darry
[ Bought this backpack on a sale, but the full price alone is worth it. This pack fits to your body so you do n't have to use any of your lesser used muscles to balance it. It fits on the fly& compartments are well designed for quick easy storage. This is the Cadillac& Ferrari of backpacks!!!

This is a great backpack for the price. I am giving it 5 stars because it's everything you would want and need in a pack. The middle zipper opening is an amazing feature that allows you to get into your items without having to pull everything out from the top like a conventional pack. One downside are the hip straps. I feel they could be slightly larger for the size of pack, I had some discomfort but nothing terribly bad, likely had more to do with me being out of shape as well. I recommended this to a buddy and he has one and uses it quite often like myself.

5 kweenofhearts
[ This is the perfect bag! It ’s large and has so many different pockets so you can get to anything and everything you have stored in it! It has an attached wet bag as well as a raincoat for your backpack!

5 sanahk2
[ This Ampex 65L transcend backpack is quite impressive. It checks all high - end features like - waterproof material, little pockets for essentials is awesome. It provides really decent support for the frame on the back and the rest on the hips, rather than on upper back and shoulders. Lastly as it is 65L - it can pack everything needed for international or a multi - day hike comfortably.

5 Nora
I got this backpack to prepare for my 3 month trip in the Caribbean and it ’s has been so helpful to say the least. I have an overpacking problem but all of the different compartments and pockets made it so I could fit everything I needed. The support on the backside of it helps so much with my back pain and doesn ’ t make me feel exhausted at the end of a busy travel day. Furthermore, the top bit comes off as a smaller backpack which was perfect for day trips. The only thing i would change would be the smaller buckles that attach the front pocket to the bag, they were a little weak. However, I don ’ t have any worry they will come undone when I check it at the airport. Overall, this bag has been a HUGE help!! It definitely has made my traveling much easier.

4 emilyc1039
[ The 65L Ampex Hiking Backpack as a whole is lightweight, comfortable, and breathable. Overall, it has plenty of smaller exterior pockets that are accessible within an arms reach when needed. The waist belt pockets are a pleasant feature that I ’ ve never experienced on a hiking ruck before, which add to the accessibility of its pockets given that the pack doesn ’ t need to be removed to reach them. The padded shoulder straps are comfortable and have plenty of lashing points which are great for attaching lights or other tools. The waist belt serves well to distribute weight and secure the pack, and the pack seemed to be highly adjustable but I didn ’ t need to play with it much. The top of the pack has a quick access pouch for essentials that serves well to store smaller items without having to access the main compartment. The main compartment has plenty of space being a larger sized ruck, and has one divider that appears removable towards the bottom if it was to be needed. The top compartment of the pack is removable as advertised and can be used on its own, however it leaves the ruck feeling somewhat naked with just an exposed drawstring closure underneath. The removed “ pack ” achieved by taking it off would not serve well for a day pack as the straps just buckle into themselves to form shoulder straps. This in and of itself feels like an unnecessary feature. The main compartment has access by way of the drawstring at the top, or zippers located on the front which are great for horizontal access without unpacking the entire ruck to access deeper items. At the bottom of the pack there is an included rainfly that tucks away nicely in its own pocket. There are lashing points located on the bottom of the pack that held a sleeping mat for me quite nicely. The wire/ mesh frame that the pack sits on is breathable, comfortable, and distributes weight well when carrying lighter loads. One glaring issue that I had was the manufacturers recommended load limit of 42 pounds. For such a large capacity pack, you would think that it would not be an issue. However, any experienced camper or hiker knows that when carrying a sustainment load or anything other than a days worth of supplies, that weight will be eaten up very quickly. While this pack has many of the amenities and features of a more expensive ruck, I would recommend a sturdier pack and frame for more extended trips, hikes, or hunts. All in all, the pack is ideal for day trips or light camping. If the buyer doesn ’ t foresee themselves approaching or exceeding the weight limit, it is a very light and comfortable ruck that was clearly designed with accessibility in mind at a competitive price.

[ First off, the open front flap makes accessing my gear at the crag so easy. The built in rope tarp is lightweight, incredibly sturdy and just the right size( i use a 70m rope). I like how breathable the straps and back are even though that is not the main thing that I enjoy about this hard structured, EVA - molded backpanel with HDPE framesheet allows me to carry just about any weight on my pack up any approach, steep or long without being bothered. There are other wonderful key features of this bag but hats off to you Osprey. You guys made an excellent climbing pack.

5 Christine A.
[ This bag is the perfect size and functionality for a long crag day. The straps and hip belt are perfect for harder approaches and the zipper/duffel double feature lets me grab whatever I need without having to empty the whole thing. Nice side pocket for bladder/bottle too. Highly recommend!

5
Great pack over all! I love that it comes with the tarp! Works great with all my gear and is super comfortable to carry.

5
Awesome bag that is bomb proof and so easy to pack and unpack with closure. Allows for luxury items with short to medium approach and easy to carry a rope with the top cover. Just wish they had a helmet attachment like some packs so you could have rope on top and helmet on back to help with storage space.

4 Guy in Denver
[ I bought the bag for the front access. It's a great feature, but would prefer to have additional interior pockets, mesh, pockets, or gear loops to better organize gear.

[ Wonderful pack in every aspect! Perfect for my day to day needs plus the occasional day hiking trips. Good work, Osprey!

[ Excellent service. Thank you so much. Your people are such a joy to work with. However the product zipper has a latent defect that has not been corrected. The zipper doesn ’ t hold up. Only lasts about a year then the cloth part of zipper goes bad. I ’ ve returned daylite many times. While I appreciate the all might guarantee, it ’s still a hassle to continue this process. But, I ’ m with Osprey. Just letting you know because you asked. All the best. J heal.

I use my backpack for work and I work in center city Philadelphia. It ’s perfect for work! It helps me not carry too much and it ’s comfortable on my back and fits my Hydroflask water bottle. Highly recommend!

My torso is 17 '' so I purchased the S/M size expecting it to be on the shortest setting. I found I needed to have it just under the longest setting to fit me correctly with the middle of the hip belt on my iliac crest. I think you might be able to squeeze into this pack if your torso is 19 '' maximum. Easily the most comfortable pack I have tried on, very happy with my purchase.

5 Josh501
[ This is my first true backpacking pack so I do n't have much to compare this to, but it seems great! Plenty of adjustment options to get the perfect fit. High quality material and zippers. Seams all appear to be strong. Looking forward to many great trips with it!

I own about 6 different Osprey packs in various sizes. The Daylite Plus is my everyday pack and I absolutely love it. Well built and well thought out. If it ever wears out( unlikely), I ’ ll just buy another one. Can ’ t beat it.

5 Tara S.
[ Just the right size for every day, pockets make sense and keep me organized.

5 Roland L.
[ I now proudly have a small collection of Osprey Packs! This Daylite Plus pack is perfect for my days in the office and running about town. It is made sturdy enough to endure anything I need to do and still stylish enough to pass as a normal person in the world who looks cool! Not the woods dwelling gnome that I actually am. The bottle holders on each side is a sign of hydration minded design that is placed into the profile of the pack as opposed to sticking out the sides. I like the kangaroo pouch that holds a lot of my snacks. Also, the 3 inner compartments are perfect for placing the items I need in separate compartments; no digging to look for what I need. Thank you, Osprey, for another quality pack that fits my needs!

5 Amy K.
[ Great size for a dayhike. Lots of pockets for holding gear. The color is really nice also.

[ Great pack!! obsessively designed and just amazing!!

5 Dax S.
[ I absolutely love this pack, comfortable, durable, and just all around amazing. All the pockets on the out of the pack make for easy assess for essential gear. I also really like how the top comes off to make for a day pack. This is my second Osprey pack and I highly recommended these to any outdoor enthusiasts

5 Tim E.
[ Osprey is awesome. They stand behind their warranty. I had an Aether 70 that had zipper and buckle issues, with some major wear on the straps securing the hip belt. I sent it in; they looked at it, and declared it not worthy of repairing. They sent me an updated model of the backpack I love and recycled parts from my old backpack. What an awesome company!!!

5 Michael T.
[ The stock photo does the color no justice. Absolutely beautiful green in person. High quality all around. Lots of features. Very comfortable to wear, the extendable hip belt is a game changer for me. My last back had very little cushion and didn ’ t come forward far enough for the hips, and this is the opposite. Plenty of adjustment length to fit just about everyone. Very simple to adjust the pack fit to make it work for your body. Plenty of zippers and pockets to keep various things organized Have only taken a short hike with this one so far, but with a 40 pound load it felt great. My last pack had the AG system and it was great, but this feels even better. Still able to ventilate the back area. Looking forward to my trips this year, especially now that I have this.

5 Ellie
I adore this pack. My mom bought the Ariel 85L for me a few years ago( 2021) for my first guiding job, and it has been my companion ever since. The pockets make it easy for me to stay organized and access a variety of gear while on the trail, and the brain turns into a little day pack. The only negative on the day pack feature is that the straps secure with plastic toggles through loops rather than buckles, so they come out when you are n't wearing the pack. This pack is super durable. I have sat on it, accidently thrown it in a beaver pond, checked it at the airport, and much more, and it has n't ripped or shown much wear yet( knock on wood of course). The water bottle pockets have a holster feature, so you can access your bottles without help and fit notebooks, maps, or fuel bottles in the top part of the pocket. I am a notorious over packer, and I can always fit everything I need and still hike comfortably with this pack. If you like ultra light this might not be your pack, but if you want to hike for a long time while staying organized and comfortable this is a great pack.

5 mariam7726
[ I bought this about a month ago and have done two backpacking trips, it is one of the best backpacks I 've owned so far. Osprey really has outdone themselves, especially with the front opening compartment. Easy access for everything and fits so many things in it as well. Easy to clean and the straps do n't hurt as bad as other brands.

5 BebeBeth
[ The Ariel Plus 85 backpack was a game changer for me. I 'm not a `` professional '' backpacker, so packing everything but the `` kitchen sink '' was a desire. Although I wound up not packing that too, I did manage to get everything I needed, and more, into this pack for a 3 night solo trip. An ultralight tent and a 4. 7 '' high sleeping pad were carried on the outside of the pack, while my mummy - style sleeping bag was in the sleeping bag compartment at the bottom of the bag. Other necessary items took up the rest of the space, with room to spare. Not only was there plenty of room in this bag, but it was incredibly comfortable. I 'm humpbacked, so not many backpacks are comfortable for me. With the adjustable torso feature, I was able to get a truly dialed - in fit and was able to hike without discomfort.

5 Aura
Osprey really outdid themselves with this one, thinking of every little detail for organization and packing this pack. Additionally, the suspension is great and carrying over 40% of my body weight, I felt the weight, but not the pack! I like my comfort and I do not like to be cold and I carry food for my dogs, while they carry the water, therefore, I need all of this space. The only detail that osprey does on all of their packs is that sleeping bag divider is not fully removable, just `` '' disconnect - able '' '' so you still have to carry the divider around with you adding weight and it does get in my way. I have never used it since it prevents me from stuffing every solitary nook and cranny of the bag. Also, when the bag is stuffed, I have never been able to successfully open and then re - close the bottom zipper anyway. Same with the side zippers Osprey has on most of its packs. HOWEVER, they surely did get it right with the front zippers on this pack! You can open the entire front and then re - close it even when fully stuffed! Wonderful!!! Also, the side pockets, unlike other Osprey models, really can be used and things added and taken out even when the pack is fully stuffed. I love the front organization pockets and keep things that I need handy like GPS and maps, etc in one and repellent and netting, or if it is a cold, snowy backpack, gloves and hat, in the other.

5 Mflight51
Finally a large woman's specific pack! Thank you Osprey! I have been using men's or unisex packs my whole life until last year. What a difference specificity makes! This pack is so incredibly comfortable you do n't really know you have it on. I am certain I will be able to travel more distance without fatigue with this pack. Six pounds for the M/L may seem like a heavier pack, but the infrastructure and material is worth it. This pack will be my only pack for multi day trips! Thank you.

[ I bought this for a summer camp job and love it. I 'm not very experienced and its perfect for me. I 'm hoping to get a lot of use out of it and possibly do little bits of the appalachian trail.

5 HoganT
[ I bought another version of this backpack for myself earlier this summer and I loved it so much my girlfriend ended up getting this one. Great size for a smaller camping trip. Fits comfy and the pockets are located in great spots. Does n't feel cheap and has yet to cause any issues for me. Would recommend getting a front pouch for snacks to go along with this just cause reaching into the bag while walking is not that easy. Not too difficult to grab water bottles from side pockets which is better than most larger bags.

4 BackpackMe
[ Bought for my daughter as a multi purpose pack. She loves it. I consider that a win. Only downside was that the bag has a strange odor that we both definitely picked up on. Hoping getting it out of packaging and airing out will solve it.

[ I bought this bag because of its many features and the external frame it has. This is one of the most comfortable bags I 've ever used, and it's mainly due to how well the bag supports weight. The bag is also very versatile. The torso length is adjustable, the brain comes off to become a day pack, and there are accessories such as pouches that can be attached on with molly on the waist belt.

5 Virgil
[ I bought this pack for an Elk hunt this fall. Well made pack. Same quality as my Dana design. The torso adjustment allows almost anyone to dial it in. Not disappointed..

Excellent “ one bag ”( or technically two) for North/South America& Europe. It may be a bit cumbersome for SE Asia, but great for everywhere else and you could probably squeak by there as well. Removable daypack fits under seats perfectly. Great all around bag set up if you want to avoid checking bags. Great suspension on the main bag as well. Nearly as good as my EXOS& Talon backpacking bags and plenty good for train/plane/bus travels. Durable quality and strong zippers. I use it with packing cubes to keep everything organized, which works great. One of the low key best parts is separating the packs before boarding and stowing all the backpack straps. It makes boarding without hitting people with straps a breeze! The internal pockets can replace a tech pouch of needed and the the other internal pouch is great for a catch all or separated dirty clothes. 10/10 would buy it again for sure.

[ Just perfect for me - - Comfortable and ergonomic design!

5 Dan M.
I recently used the Farpoint 55 on a 10 day trip across France. The main bag had plenty of room for all of my clothing and a spare pair of shoes. The day pack was great for stashing a few extra layers and keeping my essentials accessible. Love the ability to carry the entire unit as one backpack, convert the main bag to a carry - on and hide all the straps, as well as front carry the day pack. I used all three configurations on my trip. So glad I went with this over a roller bag.

5 Suydam C.
[ Love the travel pack, and the little pack is awesome for day tripping.

[ Awesome backpack, though it is a bit too long to have under an airline seat.

5 Jim G.
[ Very adjustable and is packed with all the features that I was looking for and need. Easy access to pack contents and to keep interior organized. Love the suspension system on this as well.

5 Kenneth S.
[ My Favorite day pack of all time, fits different heights folks with adjustments( even quite tall), has lots of small pockets, has holders for poles and skis, fits a water bladder, zippers move smooothly. Carries comfortably due to the metal wire loop frame and stretch fabric on the persons back. You will be the envy of your group. Even has a rain fly for those that do n't live in California. Whew!

[ Hike Yosemite with Stratos 24 last week and the backpack worked wonderfully. Great product.

While I bought this with the intentions of using it as a gym bag, I 've yet to find my way to a gym, but nonetheless, this bag is going to be perfect when I do eventually make it.

5 Peace135249721
This bag is great. As a mobile caregiver in hospital setting, I take it to work with me and since being pregnant with unexpected happenings, it carries all my personal items. I keep my keys, pens, water bottle, snacks in there too. It's durable. Functional. I plan to carry my pumping parts when I return to work. My only wish is that it came in a bigger size like 30L. But other than that, this bag is everything.

5 alyrae1024
bought it few weeks back for husbands work and he loves it!

Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. The addition of the sternum strap gave more stability for heavier loads. The MOLLE style attachment points makes this bag even more versatile to add more items to the face and sides of this bag and has came in clutch many times over. It ’s over built enough for many years of extensive use. They ’ re a bunch of key features I ’ m forgetting but overall you can not go wrong with this bag. Definitely worth it ’s weight in gold!

Weighted my Talon 11 down heavy with a piece of cherry burl I got out of my back woods while on cross country skis. Really comfortable. Only considerations are I wish the hip pockets were positioned more forward and the zippers were a little more beefy.

5 Lori D.
[ Although this is sold as a small backpack, it is mighty perfect for a day hike. Love the top zipped compartment, great for stowing those most important items that you need without searching. Along with the perfect zipped area on the waist belt - fits my iPhone 15 perfectly. This pack just keeps on giving you options to place items that you need quickly without stopping to take everything out to find what u need! Oh and the outside side pockets on both sides are ideal for water bottles. And if you really need water, you can buy the bladder accessory as this pack is bladder ready! Must mention it had an easy clip for a biking helmet, and my trekking poles easily attach to the straps. This pack makes my hikes even more enjoyable!

5 Robert K.
[ Love the Talon 11! This is my second one, the first lasted around 18 years before puppy shredding and worn out zippers did it in.

5 Kris H.
[ This pack is versatile and comfortable. Fits enough to do a 1 day up and down Mt. Whitney to easy day hikes. I put a 3L bladder in mine and the weight of the bladder does pull the keeper at the top of the pack down and deform it a little. My wife uses a 2L and her Talon 11 doesn ’ t experience this. Overall an awsome product, durable and comfortable.

[ This backpack has so much space! There are countless pockets for optimizing storage of all your goods and makes everything so easy to access. The pack itself is pretty comfy and has good structural support to keep your back from hurting. I like the adjustability of all the straps and the big zipper pulls which make them easy to open with gloves on. This includes a rain cover which is nice to have in case you encounter bad weather. And the material itself seems durable and lightweight!

[ The Transcend 50L Hiking Backpack: A Versatile Companion for the Trail The Transcend 50L Hiking Backpack is a formidable choice for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a durable, versatile, and comfortable backpack for their adventures. Having used this backpack on several hiking trips, I can confidently say it's a reliable companion for both day hikes and extended treks.** Durability( 5/5):** The Transcend 50L is built to last. Its rugged materials and reinforced stitching make it resilient against wear and tear. Even after traversing through rough terrains, the backpack showed minimal signs of damage, a testament to its outstanding durability.** Capacity( 4/5):** With a 50 - liter capacity, this backpack strikes a great balance between being spacious enough to hold all your essentials and compact enough to prevent overpacking. The main compartment easily accommodates clothing, camping gear, and food supplies, while the numerous pockets and attachments allow for organized storage of smaller items.** Comfort( 4/5):** The padded shoulder straps and back panel provide decent comfort, especially during long hikes. The airflow system helps keep your back cool and minimizes discomfort caused by sweat. However, some users might find the hip belt padding a bit lacking for heavier loads, and it could be improved for even more comfort during extended treks.** Features( 4/5):** The Transcend 50L boasts various thoughtful features, such as multiple gear loops, hydration reservoir compatibility, and adjustable straps for securing your gear. It also includes a rain cover, which is a valuable addition for keeping your belongings dry in inclement weather. The only downside is that some users may find the zippers a bit tricky to operate, especially when the bag is fully loaded.** Price( 5/5):** The Transcend 50L offers great value for its price point. It competes well with more expensive hiking backpacks on the market while maintaining a reasonable cost. In summary, the Transcend 50L Hiking Backpack is a reliable choice for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a durable and reasonably priced backpack. Its versatile design, decent comfort, and excellent durability make it suitable for a wide range of hiking adventures. While it might not be the absolute best in every aspect, it delivers a commendable overall performance that will serve you well on the trails.

[ This is a great pack! I use it to hold all my pickleball equipment. It is spacious enough to hold all my paddles, shoes, clothing, etc. Is it overkill for pickleball? Absolutely! But I love Osprey! This pack will last me for years!

5 Climbing D.
I was in the market for a gym bag, but wanted something other than those trendy cotapaxi bags everyone seems to carry around. It was by a fluke that I came across the Zealot series, which makes sense considering it's a new design. After watching the product video, I was convinced to get this bag. I definitely am a fan of the separate compartment for shoes with even enough room to place my chalk bag. Definitely saves the hassle of dusting off items you do n't want chalk on such as a tablet or food. The bag is sleek in its design, making it easy for edc. Now to test its limits for a full day with sport climbing.
