[ So far I have hiked with these shoes a little over 20mi. I hiked Mount Monadnock two days each day around 10mi. They are very lightweight while being pretty supportive. I definitely felt confident using these shoes on the Spellman, Pompelly,& Marlboro Trails. Spellman being the steepest trail on the mountain, I had no problem climbing off trail on the steep granite slabs. I was able to use the flat toe part of the boot to to support myself while standing on small cracks in the rock like I was wearing a climbing shoe. It was awesome! I felt like a kid at the playground! Terrain was mostly dry, but there were a couple wet spots that the Megagrip sole did perform well on. Temperature was in the low 70 ’ sF. The only negative I have about the boot, is that it does not breathe well. My feet did sweat considerably wearing a lightweight synthetic sock. Both days I took my shoes and socks off at the summit and removed the Ortholite insoles to dry for a half hour in the sun and wind. The inside of the boots didn ’ t fully dry out. The Ortholight insole mostly dried, because they are very thin. Inersoles could be a little thicker to provide more cushioning, but overall my feet felt good at the end of both hikes. These are aggressive trails for breaking in new shoes, but they felt pretty good out of the box, so I went for it. I think these boots will be best for shoulder season hikes and hikes taking you above tree line. Can ’ t wait to take them to Mount Washington NH!

I 've had issues with my feet in the past, but not in these shoes. My feet feel great after wearing all day. I love them so much, I bought another pair. I wear an 8. 5 in a shoe, but wear a 9 in these shoes as with most athletic shoes.

I 'm glad I took the risk because though I do find it helps to make use of a shoe horn to ease putting them on, with thin running socks they fit just right! Snug but not too tight. I have arthritic knees, and these have the perfect combination of cushion and stability for walking on a variety of terrain, from light hiking trails to gravel to sidewalk. I had wished for different color options, but when they arrived I found the salmon color quite striking, so I 'm quite pleased with that in the end too.

[ Only had a couple of days to wear around the house before a hiking trip to Arizona. I have a slightly wide foot and these fit perfectly even with wool socks and without sizing up. We pack light on flights so had to wear these 90% of the time on our 5 day trip and they were impressively comfortable throughout. I even got a compliment in the airport on how stylish they are. Went on 4 hikes of 2+ hours over somewhat rocky terrain with no soreness whatsoever; excellent traction both on smooth boulders and loose, sandy soil. Have also performed well back home in Wisconsin on wet, slippery leaves/mud. Have only been in use for a few months so ca n't comment on longevity, but would purchase again without hesitation.

[ I would like to give a huge thanks to Timberland for sending this free shoe sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. As I experiment more with different styles, one thing that will always remain a nonnegotiable is comfort. After a week of wear, the laurel court low lace up shoe delivers just that: comfort, style, and a hint of nostalgia. The shoe design and color overall allows for style versatility. I will note although the color is labeled white, it appears slightly ivory or off white. For a platform style shoe, it did n't feel overly heavy as if I was walking with bricks attached the sole. The shoe was true to size for me and I did n't have to break in the shoe like most of the shoes out now. Hopefully in the future Timberland will release more in different colors or patterns because I will definitely buy.

These shoes can be paired with almost any outfit, especially with the white color. They have a nice canvas material on the outside, and I found that they did n't get dirty quickly. The insole is very comfortable, and I could walk around in these shoes all day without any foot pain. This is super helpful for me, because I often struggle with finding a comfortable fitting shoe. They were true to size and fit snugly, with a little bit of room at the top. I would recommend these to anyone, and will be wearing these a lot!

[ Im not new to the Danner brand and this is one of thr better fitting examples they have produced. I especially enjoy the the amount of room in the toebox area. A lot of Danner boots/shoes in Regular Width, have become to narrow and the wide width, is simply to wide for me. Typical Danner quality here with just a day of Air travel and walking through airports to get a good break in. They are a stable low top with very little side to side rolling. I am a sz 11 and there is just a little bit of heal slip if I dont tighten the laces up tightly. Good looking shoe too, as I had several compliments in Charlotte and Ohare airports

I ’ ve had these boots for years and not only is the insole great for an active, running 16 year old. but it also has very good grip when I have to shovel long icy driveways. I have hiked in Colorado mountains, Appalachians, and many other places and they have stood up for me. I ’ d recommend them to anyone! And my weight fluctuates a lot. [ I bought these before a trip to hike Joshua Tree and was impressed with all the reviews indicating they were super comfortable and didn ’ t have to be broken in. So I bought them and have zero regrets! I wore them with a pair of Smartwool socks and had them on more than half the day and didn ’ t have one second of discomfort. I ’ ve recommended these to everyone but remember they ’ re not waterproof.

The only thing that needs improvement is the laces do n't hold that well as they are tied from the toe up, they slide on the material of the boot. I give the laces a lot of tension as I lace up from the toe to the tie. Otherwise a great boot.

I 'm even more impressed with the Berry Smoothie ones than I am with my black and white and monochrome black pairs cause this one has a removable insoles for some reason???
