I know my Iron ranger size and my 1907 size so I took a chance and purchased the same size as my Iron Rangers. Initially, I almost sent them back. They were very difficult to take off and to put on and they were stiff as heck.... That was almost 3 months ago. Today they are soft and comfortable and much easier going on and coming off. Having been a life- long Doc wearer I found these to be very comfortable. Minimal breaking in( at least for me). If you wear thick socks so for a half size larger, otherwise normal and sports socks may feel a little tight when you first put the boots on but losses up when breaking in.

I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

The Chaco footbed is nice and supportive, and the shaft is wide enough for easy on and off. Also love the finger loop at the back to help. These are snug at the instep if you have “ taller ” feet; it took a few wears to start to feel comfortable, and takes a shoe horn every time to get them on. Surprisingly roomy at toe box( which is where my width is). Learher and construction seem good. Cork later at the sole makes these a bit more casual, but colorwise, plays well with all the neutrals. Good looking for a casual boot. Squeaky for first day, then not again. Haven ’ t tested waterproofing yet.

To be precise, I measure 23cm so technically a 6, and after going up a whole size, I found that they ’ ll be okay to wear with thinner socks( especially once I break them in). I live in a cold and icy place. I was needing a boot that I did n't need to lace up, kept my toes a bit more warm, and had traction. This boot is that! I previously was wearing my blundstones but on- 20 F nights I just was n't having it anymore! I 've now been wearing these Bogs for a few weeks and in( almost) all sorts of condition. They were definitely a bit stiff the first 2 weeks I 'd say. But now my foot easily slips in and out of the shoe. I noticed a little bit of rubbing on my ankle in those first two weeks but that has gone away. I have high arches and usually put some inserts into my shoes. I tried that for a bit with these and found it to be a little tight. They are comfortable without the inserts but I might try again in the future once they are completely broken in. Overall, happy with my purchase! I have only kind of slipped on the ice once- which is great great improvement from before! Woohoo!

Once on, the elastic is not too tight. I wore them for an entire day before I wrote the review to make sure they meet the mark. The back heel almost makes you feel as though you are slightly forward( hard to describe), but not uncomfortable. I wish the bottom of the sole was a little more lug, or aggressive because I am in snow and ice. Did I mention they are waterproof!!!!

I bought these boots 4 years ago and they held up very well against all the abuse I put them through working at a lumberyard. The insoles are like walking on clouds, the boots never let water in, and the toe let's you get a pretty good kick in on whatever piece of lumber is n't going quite where it should be. I bought these for work, but they eventually just became my go to shoes because of how comfortable they are. I wore them everywhere, work, the grocery store, dates with the wife, you name it, those boots were there. The only reason I got rid of them was because the bottom sole tore itself off of the rest of the boot. I guess all good thing do have to come to an end eventually... Overall, very very nice boots, I recommend them to everyone that asks.

Had these for over a year now and there are a lot of hard hours on them. They are still my go to but the tread is almost gone, but still plenty of traction. Initially I purchased them just for work but I like them so much they are all I wear. Love Ariat boots' style& quality! I had owned for many years paddock, zip front boots for years that I wore in stables with cement floors& wore for riding English saddle w/ half- chaps. So when I wanted a nice pair of casual waterproof winter walking boots in the Chelsea style, I was thrilled to see that Ariat made them! Note: I first purchased reg width( wide, my width, was n't avail at the time) in size 8- 1/2 the boot itself fit perfect but the tops were too narrow above the ankle& rubbed my leg. I exchanged for wide width( avail after Christmas!) size 9( as 8- 1/2 were n't avail), I so wanted these boots. The top part above ankle does n't rub( yay) but the boot is way big for my foot. I bought super thick wool socks and manage but still too big on my feet, they slide as I walk. An 8- 1/2, wide- width would 've been perfect for me but I do n't believe they return 2x's. I wear them but can not walk fast in them and I 'm a NYer, oxymoronic. Highly recommend Ariat's Wexford Chelsea waterproof boots regardless! Super boots.

I am extremely happy with these boots and will likely not go back to Sorel. They were comfortable out of the box with no break in period- this was shocking to me as someone with heel issues that are usually a problem with new boots. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

[ Like everything danner makes it is great leather. I rock a 13 wide in sneakers and got a 12 wide for this boot. It fit snug at first especially around the top arch of the foot. After about two weeks of breakin they are comfortable but tight enough to provide appropriate traction. I think after a couple months of molding they will be on the top for comfortability.
