Use it everyday. Small enough to not be noticeable carrying around, has all the functions I need all the time.. The locking mechanism is a huge selling point. My suggestions to anyone listening.. I can unlock and close it one handed.. if there was a pivot on the main blade, I could open it one handed.. The file could be a bit better, last revision coming up pretty limited abrasion.

[ I own smaller models in the Leatherman line( Crunch, Charge, Juice) as well as a Victorinox Classic. The Surge is by far the heaviest multitool, perhaps a bit too much to use as EDC unless you are using the larger pliers all the time. The scissors are the best in a multitool or knife: smooth spring action, long blades, not finicky or flimsy. Top recommendation if you need this size of multitool.

[ I had a first generation WAVE multi- tool before. I loved it dearly. It had everything one could possibly ask for. I used it during my time in the military and well into my civilian life. Never once had a problem with it at all because Leatherman usually( and for good reason) means quality. I was heartbroken when it was stolen from me. Kind of felt like losing an old friend, really. Funny to have such feelings towards an inanimate object, but we had done a lot together. Breaking down weapons, fixing stuff around the house, pulling hooks out of the mouths of trout and salmon among other things. It feels good to have a Leatherman again.

[ I went with the Charge Plus for the stronger 154cm knife. Frankly I prefer the look and features is the Signal better, however reviews had the 420HC knife requiring constant sharpening. The Charge Plus has great features, nothing extraordinary but very utilitarian. I look forward to using it again when I can find where I have put it.

Purchased this leatherman charge tti and I am in love with it. I owned the p4 and the other brands of multi tools and this is the best of them. It's on the more pricey side of the multi tools but worth it.

[ I bought this multi tool mostly for my emergency bag and have already used some of the tools in it( cos I was too lazy to pull out the toolbox) This is my first multi tool and using it was fairly intuitive without checking instructions. It's sturdy but pretty lightweight!

The primary reason I always carried a Swiss army knife Tinker modal was for the blade and Phillips screwdriver. This knife is about the small length and weight but the screwdriver is WAY more functional and the blade locks( not sure why Swiss Army never figured this out).
