I 've been gaming this 2 iron for the past month or so. Helps when I 'm on a tee box with a narrow fairway and my driver is too risky. Have n't had a complaint yet other than it does launch a little higher than I expected it too. May be a problem on windy days but I have n't had many windy days to test it out. The lofts are strong but for me I ’ m getting a high ball flight with a soft landing. I have an average swing speed of 80mph with my 7 iron and that ’s my 165 club. Also the irons are very forgiving as I ’ m only losing 5 or 6 yards on mishits. Only con is the grips are very thin as you may need to replace them as I did.

I just got into golf about 9 mo. ago- I 'm currently a 27 hdcp, and struggled to hit my 7i 130- 140yds previously. I was looking to get out of my previous Callaway Edge box set that had graphite shafts. They became too light for me and I wanted to grow into a new set of irons as I navigate swing changes and proper technique. During my fitting I did n't have a specific brand in mind, to be honest these were n't even on my radar. After testing out 4- 5 brands it was a tight race between the Ping G440's and the Elyte's. I found the Elyte irons were exactly what I was looking for. They check all the boxes: look, feel, and sound great. These irons have a slimmer profile compared to most game improvement irons out there yet offer an insane amount of forgiveness. They definitely have a softer feel off the face, almost like they 're forged. I got my goal yardage from these clubs and it was a done deal after that. I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

I was thinking about getting the older T300 irons, but decided to do a fitting. At the fitting I was able to swing them as well as these, and I 'm glad I did. Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. I am still a higher handicap player, but these are the most forgiving irons I have hit, and it shows on the course. Would recommend to any other higher handicap player.

Many times advertising is more hype than reality, but not this time. The G730 is EVERYTHING AND MORE that Ping says they are. The player friendly design shines in all facets. Off center hits are more on line and center hits explode off the face. I am seeing 5- 6 yards more carry on average. Mid to high handicappers should STRONGLY consider this iron. It ’s truly a game changer!

I just did a fitting today and the G730 was the winner( and the only club close to it was the G440). We tried the Alta Quick 45 shaft, which worked great( in my 60's and my top swing speed is around 75mph but often 70mph). But then we dropped to the Quick 35 and it was even better. I went from hitting my existing irons( QI but customized to 2 up and 2 strong) 120- 130 carry with a strong push to the right to hitting these 155 and straight/draw. My total distance was in the 170's, which I did n't think I 'd ever see again. They just seem to whip through the shot and the sound is perfect and I was hitting baby draws instead of way right. Honestly these were n't on my radar when I walked in for the fitting. I 'm glad the fitter brought this out to try. Only negative is they may not be the best looking irons but I could n't care less.- they are amazing and fit me perfectly.

Many years ago I had the first PING irons SS 1001. Over the years I 've had most of the brands. I recently bought the 430 Driver, 3, 5& 7 woods and liked them so much I ordered the irons. PING really hit a grand slam with the 430 woods and irons. Very forgiving and long! If you ca n't hit fairway woods, try the 430's. Get fitted!

I love, love, love my 7 and 9 Big Bertha REVA irons. I demo 'd the Paradigm D's but found the Reva irons far superior. When I swing my Reva irons, I feel like I 'm putting some serious metal on that ball. He ’s hitting the ball so much better than with his junior irons, which were a pretty good set. You definitely get what you pay for- and these are worth every penny. I thought he hit the standard Qi irons well also, but he liked the feel of these( Qi HL) better. Only complaint would be the grips are a little funny, but we bought from one of our local golf shops. We ’ ll see how he feels about the grips after a few more rounds. Overall, he loves them and I think is a Taylormade fan for life.

My wife was fitted for Ping G Le3 irons, hybrids, and fairway woods in November and they have been fantastic. Gapping specifically for women and women friendly design actually works. She is 78 and is able to hit and hold greens as never before as these clubs have given her some additional length while hitting the ball much higher.
