This product is incredible. I 've had mine for about a month, and I get in at least 10 minutes of swings with it almost every day. I finally got out and hit the course for the first time since getting the IS the other day and, while my score still was n't good, I was striking the ball better and with much more consistency than I have in years. I 've still got swing thoughts, but now I at least know what I 'm feeling for, and with more swings it 'll eventually just become muscle memory.

A major difference between high- handicappers and better players is the angle of the clubface at impact. High- handicappers turn 5- irons in 7's, with less accuracy, while better players turn 7's into 5's with much cleaner and crisper contact. This is the idea of `` lag ''. This product will absolutely help, you 'll make far better compression, adding significant distance and accuracy. Do NOT however, fall into the trap of just working this as if it were a `` hands- only '' maneuver. Using any impact bag requires proper technique. There are many reviews by users who repoprt `` stitchinig separated '' after a few swings. First off these bags will not hold up to a full on golf swing. Secondly, you impact the bag more with the shaft first in the CENTER area of the bag with a moderate and less than full swing impact. One of of the uses of the bag and to learn to hit the ball with proper shaft lean with a moderate version of your real swing. Hitting the bag in the bottom portion( as if you were actually trying to hit a ball) with an aggressive swing will ALWAYS cause the stitching to break. I use this bag the way it was intended to be used( impact somewhere in the Yellow area), shaft leading the club face and have no issues. It's not a golf ball!! Hitting the Yellow area with the CLUB FACE first is not only the wrong way to swing, it will eventually tear/rip the impacted area with an aggressive swing. Reviews stating the product will not hold up should be ignored because the approach which causes this to happen is flawed. Impact bags, when used properly, are a great training aid!

Bought this afternoon and set it up in the backyard. Have not hit any driver or long iron clubs with it yet only wedges. So far working great and image on net gives a nice visual reference. I had originally picked it up as it was on sale for the off- season to hit balls in the garage. Packaged instructions state for outdoor use only as it is anchored and held in place by 4 U shaped tent like stakes. May try to use in garage in off- season by using weighted bags to hold in place.

I like many amateurs do not always have time to hit the range before a round of golf. This swing trainer is the perfect warm up tool to stretch your golf muscles, and prepare for your first few holes. I personally prefer the 40 ” length because it is similar to a 4 iron versus the 48 ” more like a driver. The 40 ” is a little stiffer than the 48 ” and gives me a better feel for the actual club(s) I am preparing to swing. Remember that you only hit 10 to 12 drivers per round, and you will play 2- 3 times as many irons. This warm up tool fits nicely in your golf bag, and can be used on tees other than just the 1st! Enjoy and use to stretch and strengthen your golf muscles every day regardless of playing a round.

This is a very nice product for working on your swing tempo and stretching out before hitting on the range or first tee. It's definitely improved my swing by causing me to slow down my take away and pause more at the top. However- I purchased each of the two versions, the long one for me and the short one for my wife, who is about 5 feet tall. The grip is the same for both lengths and this is a poor decision by the manufacturer. Short people( like my wife) generally have smaller hands and the grip on the short model is way too big for her. I 'll have to change it for a grip size similar to the one on her golf clubs.
